Why did Xbox 360 Guitar Hero outsold the PS2 version?

What is going on guys, are PS2 owners not buying games anymore??? How is it possible to get outsold by the X360 version?

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, bundled with the guitar controller, held the second, third, and fourth spots on the chart. The Xbox 360 version was the most popular SKU, with 383,200 units sold, followed by 286,300 units of the Wii version and 271,100 units of the PS2 version.

The PS2 version, sans guitar controller, came in at number eight, with 231,700 units sold.

i dont think there is a ps2 this generation since there isnt a console that is dominating hardware and software sales. the sales for the wii are crazy compare to the ps3 and 360 sale wise, but the software sales are lacking on the wii unlike the 360 software sales.

The 360 might not be leading in sales (it's doing pretty good though), but...

1) All the greatest games of this generation have been released on the 360 (except for a couple of Nintendo titles, of course)...PS2 of this gen.

2) Gamers are choosing to play those great games on the 360 (not the Wii or the PS3)...PS2 of this gen.

3) Developers are loving the platform and they are making mucho dinero$$$ (Square Enix and Konamy, you say? Well, I guess they don't create games to make a profit...they do it as an art form, :?)...PS2 of this gen.

Enix and Konami are what made the PS2 the PS2. Without them, you really can't call a console the PS2 of a generation.

Well, tenth place is Brain Age 2 at 117,000. So even if we assume the game only version for the 360 sold the same and BA 2 got listed because it's alphabetically first, that puts the 360 at 500,000 - still less.
