Because Sony is a hardware company first and foremost. They will need extra time to have a working stable gaming network then mutiplayer games should follow.
I've read through posts on here, and some will say Killzone is as good or even better, but I really think that Halo multiplayer is in a class of its own. I own a PS3, and really miss Halo from my Xbox days.
I just don't understand why Sony can't seem to give us that great MP game.

Halo got old to me after playing 1 and 2 so long. Halo series is just rehashing the same gameplay to death just making it with better graphics each time out. Same goes for all series shooters. CoD, Resistance, Killzone etc.
