Why are these morons talking about a switch pro?

Didn't the switch just release back in 2017? Compare that to the Xbox one and PS4 that released in 2012. What reason would nintendo have to release a new system so soon?

X1 and PS4 released at the end of 2013.

PS4 release: November 15 2013

PS4 Pro release: November 10 2016

Xbox One release: November 22 2013

Xbox One X: November 7 2017

The switch is weak, we want pro model with minimal screen bezels.

It's a rumor that has been going around. The timing is right, and there have been some leaks to suggest they have an interest in it. If it's a TV only system that is sold with a real controller, I may be interested. Just think of how much more performance they can pack into the Switch if it didn't have to be constrained to the form factor of a mobile device.
