So after I've recently found my dusty old 360 and fired it back up I figured I should go pick up some old exclusives for the cheap that were "expensive" back when I was playing my 360. Going down to my local game store I was able to pick up Blue Dragon for $5 and CrackDown2 for $15. (I didn't even know there was a CrackDown2! I just remember loving the first game (those orbs!!) )

There were also a ton more 360 games that were around $20, yet were much more on the PS3 side. (MW2 on the PS3 was $35, a combo pack with MW2 and COD4 on the 360 was $25.)

Anyone know why this is? Amazon seems to have similar prices also.

Inflation!

Just kidding, probably something to do with DVD being cheaper than Blu-ray I'm guessing

For the most part I'd say they're the same price 5$ 360 game is probably used or realy not very good. Most Ps3 & 360 games decrease in price at the same rate un like Wii games that are still full price after like 5 years.

its same price here in australia (which is soooo damn expensive). they possibly could be basing it on supply and demand.

Probablly has to do with the quality of 360 games, when compared to the ps3 aren't as good.

It's simply because with almost any multiplat there are usually more copies of the 360 version floating around.

In Australia they are usually the about the same price.

I'd also like to say that I am really jealous that you guys pay $50-$60 for new games when us Aussies have to pay a small fortune.

lower price - low quality, why? because one is DVD and the other is BluRay

This exactly...The 360 version of games usually always sell more than the PS3 counter part. This probably leads to more copies of the 360 version being traded in thus decreasing their trade in value and lowering their used prices. This is why a used copy of Modern Warfare is only $10-$15 on 360 and $20-$25 on PS3. It could also mean PS3 owners hold onto their games longer.

New they are usually always the same price. Nothing to do with the fact one is on DVD and the other Blu-ray. I asked this question at my local Gamestop once when I noticed the used price difference, this was the explaination I got from the employee. Not to say he knew what he was talking about but it made sense.

I don't see that...Here in Canada they always go for the same price...The only time I ever seen a difference is when Bayonetta came out...The PS3 Ver.was 59.99,while 360 ver.69.99...

Soo a 360 used or older game gets much cheaper then a PS3 used or older game, but when they both get released they will be the same price? How does that work? I doubt it's the fact that Blu-Rays are better.
