Who won E3 2014? (POLL)

it was in engine unlike Halo's trailer, Crackdown's trailer, and Scalebound. Hell, people are giving bloodborne shit, but we've already seen leaked gameplay of that.

Solid post. I just think it was cocky of Sony to turn around and show TV this year after so called "gamers" were turned off by it last year. Forget MS, Phil Spencer won E3.

Sony won and the sales will continue to prove this. Little Planet 3 is the huge Fall game Sony needed. And it has not competition other than Project Spark which is not competition really.

Except they still had better exclusives than Microsoft and all the multiplats MS showed will be better on PS4.

The Xbox One is selling much worse than Xbox 360.

It has been selling so badly Microsoft was forced to make the desperation move of dumping Kinect. No RRoD this gen for Microsoft to massively inflate their sales numbers.

I will buy a PS4, but it wont be because of E3...thats for dayum sure. If anything, it made me wait until 2015 to pull the trigger.

Both Nintendo and MS E3 presentation were more organized than Sony's terrible E3. Nintendo planned to be funny and they delivered. Microsoft planned to stay focus on gaming and they delivered. Sony was all over the damn place, from fake letters to PSTV to VR to Ratchet movies, their shit was a mess and had no solid substance like the other two. SW died a long time ago when cows populated it due to not having reasons to play a Playstation. So polls will always result of having less votes to the most threat to a Playstation and that's an Xbox this gen. The fear for the Xbox is so strong they will give votes to any thing else but Microsoft even if they are the real winners, rather than being real men and take the lost and admit defeat. Thus the reason cows are the most annoying flamboyant worse fanboys out of any fanboys.

I already bought this abomination. Played it a total of 3 times and have no intention of playing it in the near future.

I had PS3 and 360 last gen. i already know which system I will play more (controller preference). Im not in any rush to buy...a slim version may come out before a AAA title.

It's weird how you left out all the exciting games.

Voted Ninty, they've finally climbed down out the Ivory tower to satisfy their fans by making games they actually want. Sony dropped more bombs for me personally even though they had the biggest trough of nonsense out of all three, they redeemed themselves towards the end. Hopefully Sony watched the reaction to what happened so they can prepare for next E3. Was pretty underwhelmed by MS, was a good E3 for Xbone diehards but none of the hype announcements were dropped or any of these AAA tier multiplatform exclusive gets.

All i can say is sony bored me. For me, the Master Chief Collection alone beat sony's conference. I can't wait to get online with halo ce for the first time (all LAN parties back in the day) and halo 2 again.

Nintendo had a good conference too but MS wins in my book. A new Crackdown, Sunset Overdrive looked like a lot of fun, project spark, evolve, ori,phantom dust, etc.

Evolve and Project Spark are not exclusives. Showing multiplats means nothing especially when they will all be better on PS4. Little Big Planet 3 will shit all over Sunset Overdrive in scores and sales.

Sony was well rounded. It had a good bunch of 1st party, 3rd party, indie, feature announcements and such. Nintendo had much less to offer, but still, very excited for those games.

In terms of showing the most new exclusive games, I say Nintendo, but I think the total overall quality of the games will be best for Sony.

For me MS won a close race, but even if you disagree I think everyone should agree MS redeemed themselves nicely from last year.

Nintendo had a nicely focused conference as well (though rambling compared to MS), but kinda easy to do when you prerecord and edit the whole thing... AND barely go 45 minutes.

Sony was all over the place, though I saw several games I want and got good news on the Vita PSTV.

This. Nintendo showed not only the most exclusives but the most diverse games and the most GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE, not CG videos/tv or comic books. Not to mention they finished off with a huge Smash Bros Tournament.

It was definitely Nintendo's best E3 in years, but wasn't anything too special.

As much hate as Nintendo gets around these parts and on this site in general, to be tied for first in voting is no small feat. No amount of twisting will change that. Surprising to see some of the biggest fanboys of different consoles vote Nintendo. Cheers to those who don't wear rose tinted glasses just for the sake of upholding brand loyalty. Like someone else said... gamers won this year. From a big three perspective though.... it wasn't even close.

It is clear the winner is Nintendo. The voting is going exactly as I called it. All 3 had some decent games, but SONY and MS needed a couple knockout punches to win.... Nintendo had the most exclusives and interesting games coming out. I didn't think I would vote Nintendo before E3 started... I can tell you that much. However, those claiming that Nintendo didn't win are hilarious... Crystal ball confirmed. Like always.

Got both consoles last gen and got both this gen, last gen was X360 and this gen is PS4. No fan boy as you will see from gamertags. PS4>X1 with a massive lob on.

Well, the general crowd seems to agree that the best E3 conference didn't come from Microsoft. Sorry lems, your conference was a borefest. The only game that looked interesting was Sunset Overdrive, and that's a game from a company who was conditioned to make quality games for Sony.

Still missing one, though...

Sony had 20 minutes of crap but their conference was also 20 minutes longer.
