Who owns a PS3 and a Xbox 360 and is equally happy with both?

Questions:

1) what is the distinct features that you like most about each console?

2) what is your all time top five favorite exclusive games on each console?

I'm not asking which is better than the other, or which one you prefer over the other. This topic is for that particular group of people who own both consoles and enjoy them both equally. And before PC players come in and say the PC is the best, yes we know heres a cookie.

Me. I love playing multiplats on 360 and it's exclusives, and I love the PS3 exclusives and the blu ray player.

It's the Wii I'm ashamed about.

Basically I go this way.

If you have a PC, and looking for one of those two, I say go with the PS3.

Tho if you don't have a PC, and looking between those two, I say Xbox 360.

360 have better multiplats generally, tho not every single one is that bad on the PS3.

PS3, imo, has a better array of exclusives, tho there are some decent ones on the 360.

I like how my PS3 had blu ray and free online play. I don't really play MP much except for MMORPG's so xbox live is kind of a waste for me.

For ps3 I love Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid 4, Demon Souls, Ratchet and Clank, and Infamous.

For my 360 I pretty much only use it for exclusives and the only exclusive I have enjoyed are the Halo games. Naruto rise of a Ninja is pretty well done for an anime game and even though Dead Rising 1 isn't a exclusive its still a game I enjoy on my 360 as well. I have more games for my 360 but they just don't really stand out as something I would consider a favorite.

360: Controller, Live Arcade

2. PS3 : Valkyria Chronicles, Demons Souls, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Journey, Yakuza 3.
360 : Crackdown, Akai Katana, Dodonpachi Resurrection, Deathsmiles, Marble Blast Ultra.

I use both of them more for fighting games and multiplats than anything else.

i dont get people getting 360 for multiplats. its not like you will get ps3 and 360 and hook them up to 2 tvs and sit there and compare black ops, assasins creed etc etc.

only legit reason for a 360 would be its exclusives. if they interest you then get 360.

or

if exclusives interest you on ps3, then get ps3. blu ray is just a bonus.

Not only my PS3 and 360, but also my Wii, 3DS and Vita as well and soon a Wii U. They all have games I can only play on those systems and I think it's ridiculous to seriously hate any of them.

My family prefers the PS3 by far. The 360 is primarily our media streaming device since we don't have an HDtv. The PS3 is only used for gaming on our HD monitor.

What I like about the PS3:-

• PS3's XMB interface is better looking and more fluid than the 360's.
• Better controller and it fits everybody's hands nicely.
• It has Blu-ray, so you can watch BD movies on PS3.
• Free online! It's as good as Xbox Live. I honestly don't know why XBL has fees.
• Upgradeable hard drive, so when you run out of space. No need to worry. Just upgrade to as much as 2TB while the 360 is stuck at 250GB.

What I like about the 360:-

• It download and install things simultaneously. Just a overall faster process.

That's all I like about the 360 really.

Top PS3 exclusive games:-

• Uncharted
• Killzone
• God of War III
• inFamous
• Motorstorm

There are more IPs missing in this list. Don't forget the HD collections, they're awesome.

Top 360 exclusive games:-

• Halo
• Gears of War
• Forza

In conclusion after seeing this factual post, the PS3 is a better console to begin with.

I got rid of my Xbox and bought a PS3. I just picked up another Xbox though for Halo 4, so I think I will just keep them both and have the best of both worlds. PS3 has some great games, but so does the Xbox. For value, I think the PS3 is better, but they just don't have a online MP experince as good as Halo in my opinion.

Owned PS3 2007 - Present, Wii 2010 - Present, 360 2011 - Present Honestly I love my 360 the most, but it could just be the honeymoon stage.

1.) PS3 does all my entertainment, Awesome 1st party. 360 better interface and linking with friends, better open world games (most). Wii I just love playing the Nintendo 1st party games SMG etc. The Wii is a pos outside of its 1st party games and even those are rehashed stories.

2.) PS3: MGS4, KZ3, UC3, GT5, GOW3. 360: Halo, Gears, Forza. Wii: Mario, Zelda, Metroid

i have them both and give the edge to the ps3 but i wouldn't want to do without either.

I like them both equally. I played my 360 the most for the first half of the gen and then I mainly played my PS3 for the second half of the gen.

I'm pretty happy with both. I just wish MS would release more core games, that's all.

A lot of 360 exclusives can be played on pc too, but cannot be played on ps3:

So ps3 exclusives:

1) Killzone HD collections. 2) Valkyria Chronicles. 3) Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll (severely underrated) 4) Infamous 1..........umm not a exclusive, but the game runs flawlessly on the ps3 when compared to 360, 5) Darksiders

360 exclusives:

1) Lost Odyssey. 2) Minecraft. 3) The Witcher 2. 4)Tales of Vesperia. 5) Dark Messiah

They share most of the same games and are very similar in a lot of ways.

Differences:

Online - free on PS3, not free on 360.

Controller - Sticks are more sensitive on DS3 than 360 pad, meaning they allow for more sensitive movement (better for shooters), but this also means they are harder to wield right off the bat. The face buttons are pressure sesnitive, which doesn't mean much since multiplats can't take advantage of it.

Exclusives - Sony tend to have a wider variety of exclusives, and they also take more chances with them. The downside of this is that few of their exclusives are made to ultra high quality standards, at least until they get a sequel.

Audio -If you have a nice audio set up, the ps3 will take advantage of it more. More space on disc means uncompressed audio for most games.

Media - When I had a 360, it was much more limited than my ps3 in what video file types it would play. I don't know how it is these days, but in my experience the ps3 was the better digiital media player. And, of coure, you have blu-ray vs. DVD to consider.

I've never had any issues with either, and it just so happened that more of my friends have 360s so I end up playing that a little more. I recently switched over to a second PS3 because I gave my older one to my brother, so I lost a lot of my trophies which kind of threw away the incentive to buy 3rd party games for it. Anyway, to answer your questions....

1) Xbox Live is much better IMO than PSN, but I also enjoy not having to pay for PSN and for it working well most of the time. Having wireless integrated into the PS3 is a huge plus as well.

Yeah, I can say I like both equally for different reasons.

Controller - 360

Online- 360 (subscription sux, but I like Live better than PSN)

game library - tie (Sony have more impressive exclusives, I just don't like all of them)

Overall Build quality - PS3

Media features - PS3

Motion control games suck ass on both systems. (I think move is functionally better, but less cool as an idea than Kinect).

im not equally happy with both, but the point is its the games that make the system. it starts with the exclusive games

I like both. I game more on my 360 because most of my friends are on XBL and I prefer the controller. I use my PS3 for its exclusive and as a Blu-Ray player.

I like the ease/functionality of XBOX Live, though I still believe it should be free.

I like the exclusives I get from both platforms.... Uncharted, God Of War, Gears of War & Halo

The biggest reason I prefer 360 over PS3 is, better performance in most multiplats and a better controller (better triggers & better analog placement). If not for those 2 things, I'd like them both equally.
