Wait, wait, wait. Chloe is not the protagonist of Life is Strange. Max is. Chloe is a major character, but she is as much the main character as Chie is of Persona 4 (i.e. she is not).

And my vote is Max, btw, who is also probably one of my all time favorite characters.

2B, because she became the icon of a franchise that already existed even if it was niche and became easily recognizable by most of the game community and her design even when it is somewhat symplistic is distinctive and appealing.
