FIFA 08.
FIFA just blew PES out of the damn water this year.
The only ones getting PES this year are those that are getting both, or the screw tight PES fans.
I converted to FIFA the moment I played the demo.
Most realistic football simulation yet :D
Pes 08 demo blows fifa out of the water. Fifa is slow paced, and the field is extremely small. Pes 08 feels like you are controlling an actual soccer match and the tactical plays such as 1-2, attacking player ai's are improved so much.
American football fans= 300 million
Real football fans = 6 billion.
sorry but being a 'football' fan (soccer as you would say), PES has always had better gameplay, while fifa is more dumbed down, it may be a little different this year, but PES is still the better game. however thats not to say fifa isnt good, im getting bothalia999
Yeah, and as a football fan would point out, FIFA has it in the bag this year. Only a delusional PES fan would say otherwise.
Only a few small errors but it's the closest to real football we've ever been.
PES has been at a standstill for ages.
I cannot stress how much different FIFA 08 is from the previous installments. It's just so damn good.

Umm how? Last time i remembered, Players as slow as neville can't catch ronaldinho? Its unrealistic, field is too small player ai is garbage and the flow is pathetic. The only thing going for it is licensed names. But in 2010 things will change.

I hope your joking. FIFA still hasn't got football right. Sure, it's better than FIFA 07, but its not as good as PES 2007. Not nearly. PES 2008 for me.

See, that's one of the only problems with the game, and I'll metaphorically state it:
Ronaldinho is God.
People like him are not invincible though. Just change up your tactics.
And player A.I is not garbage. I dunno where the hell you got that from. If you keep up your play style your team mates will start to take up better positions, when they start predicting it. And the opposing side will pick that up too.
Field is too small? I fired up the PES 08 demo a few days ago, and I feel that is smaller than the FIFA field. Might be camera angles, but I do feel it's smaller.
If you really have to stick to PES like a moth to the flame, one thing you must give kudos to is what EA was hailing as 'the shot'. My God, they got that so damn spot on. In PES the goals you scored felt earned, right? This feeling is even better. Watching the replays, you can see why your missed goal didn't work, be it the pressure from the defence making Cisse panic, or an awkward shot by Tevez making it easy for the keeper to save.
This game is a helluva lot closer to PES than its previous FIFA brothers, and whilst PES sadly just dawdles around with negligible improvements, FIFA is starting to push football games into this generation. And we should applaud them, because it'll wake Konami up.
PES is easily the most realistic but I don't have any fun with it, I'm going with FIFA. I say this as an englishman.
Sensible World Of Soccer owns them all 12 years on still anyway.

I dunno if you played the FIFA 08 demo or not,
But from what it sounds like, if you thought FIFA 08 is "enjoyable" as FIFA 07, you're dead wrong.
