Who agrees that Kingdom Hearts is the best action rpg game series ?

The soundtrack, gameplay, story, characters, style, rpg elements, extra content, it's all just to awsome for me to stomach :P

Probably my favorite, but best? Eh I sure there are better ones.

Diablo is. I thought KH2 sucked, so the series' greatness pretty much ended with the first game, for me.

Fun game. Huge Disney fan. Love FF - Disney mashup but I grow tired of "Nomura's FF". Also, the story is cheesy as **** and makes absolutely no sense.

You misspelled Mass Effect. If you didn't mean Mass Effect then you misspelled Fallout, Dragon Age and Demon's Souls.

Seriously, which one is it? Its almost like gibberish to me, and none of those start with a K so I don't know where you got THAT from.

KH2 was very light on the RPG but the handheld ones has more depth to them. As for the stories I found them to be decent even through KHII was kinda eh and 358/2 Days was... useless and adding a character that the series could have been fine without.>_>

i dont know if there the best but there certainly my favorite thats for sure.

Kingdom Hearts 2 is my favorite game of all time. It has one of the best stories in all of gaming.

Not even close far from being even the best Action RPG series.

I like the game myself but the gameplay is seriously lacking. It's a button smasher. Fable has a better combat system.

I completely agree! I love the Kingdom Hearts series and I am hoping for a HD Kingdom Hearts Collection for PS3 to come out seeing how Kingdom Hearts is a hugely popular series on PS2. My main gripe I have with the series is all the spin-offs, why why why does it have to be a story other than Sora's? Kingdom Hearts 1&2 were epic and I'm hoping Kingdom Hearts 3 will go back to it's roots and give bring back Sora for another epic masterpiece.

No way, IHMO Kingdom Hearts has a better combat system. To each their own.

If you're going to call a game the best of its genre the only results you'll get is people disagreeing with you.

KH1 was good, all the rest? I can't say I agree with you brother.

I really, really, really need to play these. I actually have the entire series. (well, just chain of memories, 1 and 2) It's just that I didn't get around to put the disc in to play those damned games.funsohng

Take these words of advice I'm about to give you to heart. Take KH2 and Chain of Memories, throw them in a garbage can, light it on fire, and then piss on the ashes. THEN start playing KH1 and experience one of the most magical and fun games out there.

I agree, KH BBS is my personal game of the year, I have around 25 hours of gameplay in it so far and many more to come. But no other action rpg can touch the masterpiece that was KH2

I love the KH series but I disagree, the combat is flawed (BBS did atlest improve it a bit)
There is really no bigg RPG element neither in character traits or ability growth (once again BBS did improve it a bit)
The story is to convoluted and the refusal to end some plotlines will and have lead to plot holes, things that will end up never being explained or things with poor explanations

KH1/2 are great, BBS was fun, the GB titles are crap. Overall a gereat series, but I wouldn't call it the best Action RPG series :S
