Which Square Enix IP should SE revive for the Switch? SE looking to reboot old franchises

Bring every FF under sun to Switch. About time OP kneels over FF greatness over all the kiddy games he's been playing lately xD

First choice, a true FF tactics sequel.

Second choice, Einhander.

I loved TWEWY so, so much. But I have no idea how they could possibly make a worthwhile sequel. So even though I really loved TWEWY, I'm going with a Front Mission as SRPG sequel. SE destroyed Front Mission when they tried to make it Armored Core, but as SRPGs they were awesome and I would love them to make a sequel.

I don't really like their games, but I enjoyed FF:CC on the GameCube a lot. Another similar one would be awesome, but I might be the only one in the world who wants that.

Action game with RPG elements with a super cozy atmosphere, really good graphics and artstyle, really fun 4-player co op (combining spells with your friends to cast a huge spell of awesomeness was very satisfying), awesome soundtrack.. I really want more of this.

They should make a new Actraiser in the same vein as the original. Reprise the roll of the master and put the two proper game designs back in the game... Top down, building with story elements and the 2d action sequences....

The Project Octopath Demo was great and one of my "must haves" for next year.

If they were to revive the Chrono Trigger series and put it on Switch? And it was good? Dang, that would be one of the most popular 3rd party games of this generation no doubt. It might even beat out some of the 1st party games depending on sales.

FF Tactics and Ogre Tactics would make me happy if they were handled correctly.

None. I'd rather not see more crap games ruining the reputation of series' that were previously good.

Well, Switch is already getting a port of Fear Effect, so I expect nothing more than a Smash 5 announcement and Lighting or Noctis as a guest star.

That, said, tough call what reboot I would see as I never played much Square IP's outside of Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Sleeping Dogs, and Tomb Raider

The World Ends With You would be really hype

FFT immediately jumps to mind as a good fit on Switch since it's more handheld-oriented in the first instance.

God only knows for what reason the Chrono series went dormant, so giving it a jumpstart would also be exciting (at least for as long as it takes people to remember it's S-E in charge).
