which should i get next 360 or wii?

i already own a ps3 but i think its about time i expand my horizons and buy a new console. problem is i cant decide which one to get cuz they both offer a bunch of fun games id like to get. the wii seems like it has more games that id enjoy but the 360 obviously has the stronger online community so which should i go for?

please dont just choose one please tell me why it would be better. no fanboyism please thank u =)

I would advice against buying a Wii, but seeing that's the system with more games you're interested in, well... that's what you should get.

I would go with the Wii. Since you have a PS3 a 360 might feel very similar, but if you got a Wii it would be a nice change of pace.

Plus, the Wii has an amazing lineup for this year. Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid Other M, Monster Hunter Tri, Zelda (possibly), and many others.

i dont understand threads like this ur askin wat system u shuld buy on SYSTEM WARS,which means everybody is goin to giv u a different answer and for some reason noone culd giv an answer witout bashin another system thus leadin into a neverending loophole of nonsense

but to answer ur question jus go with the wii u might like it 360/ps3 are way too similar

well i know everyone will basically say 360, but as a person that owns all i'd say wii since exclusive wise it isn't so similar like ps3 and 360 are, its a lot more diverse with games like galaxy, brawl, metroid trilogy, twilight princess, etc.

Way i would see it Wii looks fun and the games will keep value, 360 games will be extremly cheap in the future.

But if your prepaired to pay for Live get a 360 for Halo & Forza.

well i dont think i could post a thread like this anywhere else on GS forums and noones really bashing any systems so far on this thread.

it seems like everyone is recommending the wii for its unique exclusives so i guess i might go that route thanks everyone =)

PS3 and 360 are virtually indentical, and if you already have a PC capable of playing games, you rwally have no need for a 360. I suggest a Wii because it is truly different from a PS3.

If the Wii is the one with more games that interest you, that's what I would say to go for.

Wii or just save it up for a gaming pc

Instead of buying a console buy a nice pc for 500-600 you can play the good wii games on it in hd and most of the xbox360 exclusive games also come out on pc(like mass effect).hungry_pirate

Playing wii games on the pc huh? You do realize that when emulating them they are Glitchy, Missing Textures, No Sound/Music, and dont even get me started on the controls. Bad advice dude.

well as a former owner of the wii ima tell u to NOT get it well it kinda depends on how old u are if ur 12 or so get a wii if ur older than get a 360 and it isnt that similar to a ps3 well first obviously is online which IS better than psn i dont care wat u ppl think but thats wat i think and it has a bunch of exclusives that r great too and i prefer a couch to monitor, because well thats my opinion. when i bought my wii, i bought brawl and i jus got bored after a few days to be honest with u. and the only real good games 4 the wii is only smg and mp3:c so i sold it after a few weeks so i realy recommend buying a 360.chunkymonkey313
