Which is the worst game to score a 10 in gamespot?

I meant to hit MGS V but clicked Witcher 3 instead. MGS V was an 8/10 at best. Witcher 3 wasn't a 10/10 but definitely not the worst.

GTAIV and GS hype the hell out of that shit too.

I wont vote as I haven't played about half of these games. I will say that I wasn't able to finish Uncharted 4. The first few chapters are so god damn slow and cut scene heavy, that I gave up. Its also possible that I just had Uncharted fatigue as I played 1 & 2 right before UC4 came out.

Nah the game is just a snooze fest with very poor pacing, not sure if Naughty Dog wanted to make a movie or a game.

I'd say GTA 4, that game was garbage, but it fits in with the rest of the series.

Easily MGS4, I don't get the stick up the ass everyone has with GTA4.

Soul Calibur is the worst. The only games that really warrant the 10 score are Ocarina of Time and maybe The Witcher 3. They are not without flaws, but they are exceptional games.

Definitely not MGS V. It's practically the antithesis of how to make an open world game. Outside of fans of the series I honestly don't see how it has any appeal.

SMG2 is the only game on that list that I'd personally give a 10.

Kinda hard to argue the worst, a lot of equally bad picks in there.

Edit: Well I'll try. Of the ones I've played, Journey, TW3, MGS4, GTA4, all equally lulzy 10s.

Haven't played Uncharted 4 or Divinity 2.

I'm a fan and I honestly don't see how fans could possibly like it. It's so unlike any MGS game that it's almost as if Kojima vomited on all of us. Konami was right, they were not liking the way the game was going. Sorry for them, I bet they didn't expect critics to give a 10/10. They must have been like "Oh wtf, this game was poo."

Uncharted, easily. Movie games suck.

Journey is close second.

GTA IV was a step backwards from San Andreas and didn't deserve a 7 so a 10 is a laughable score. Just my opinion.

and from what I understand, the game being objectively mediocre isn't a popular opinion, which surprises me. The open world is probably the worst this generation and the game play is incredibly grindy with too much time being spent in the shitty UI. The plot is there, but the players actions feel somewhat detached from it compared to previous titles.

tW3. It's not awful, but I would rank it adequate at best. It would be amazing if it were a $10 Burger King game... but c'mon. Most of the rest deserve their scores IMO.

Out of the listed games, Journey doesn't really belong on that list. It's an ok game but it doesn't stack up next to the others.

I enjoyed the game but MGS4 is not in the same league as the likes of OoT or SMG2. Its such a polarizing game and for good reason but I think its a solid 7.5/10 and worth playing for sure. What an unfortunate follow up to one of the GOATs tho.

I really did not enjoy Choro Cross. It was nothing like Chrono Trigger. So I chose that.

It's obviously the Alt-Right trolls and Russian bots.

The worst game on that list is Grand Theft Auto IV, but if we also count movies, then it is Uncharted 4.

Most deserving: OOT and MGSV.

Of the ones I played: MGS4. Everything after Act 2 sucked. At least the gameplay in MGSV was great.

GTAIV is a close second for being dull.

The only ones that deserved a 10 from that list were SMG2 and Breath of the Wild. I will say that THPS3 deserved a 10 compared to other games of that genre.

still wonder why people keep saying GTA IV

at the time I really enjoyed it, but

• the game ran horribly on PS3, I thankfully played it on Xbox 360 and it ran fine, strange because reviewers say it performed better on PS3 but I played it at a friends and his PS3 kept shitting the bed any time I started earning wanted stars
• the games controls were okay when it released but quickly felt dated as TPS games kind of conformed to more efficient and uniform standards, and in many ways GTA IV is hard to get back into after having it so good with later games of last gen that handled it better, same problem pops up when trying to get back into other games like RE4, a well celebrated game for years but noticing more and more people hating on it now, my guess is all those re-releases took away people's nostalgia goggles when they revisited and found it a pain to jump back into
• I'm guessing those that played it on PS3 also hated the controls, as t was the same as the Xbox 360 controls which had real triggers but the PS3 controls must have sucked with those horrible triggers it had, and they hadn't yet learned to use the L1/R1 bumpers instead of L2/R2 triggers like other games would later do
• I'm guessing some people feel bitter the Xbox 360 got the DLC first, and that the PC port took forever, and I'm guessing could be a large part of it for many, I mean Rise of the Tomb Raider had everyone wishing for the demise of Crystal Dynamics and the Tomb Raider franchise, so that wouldn't surprise me either

Note: Before Gamespot moved to a 20-point scale and then 10-point scale, only 4 games ever got 10s. Chrono Cross, THPS3, Zelda: OOT, and Soul Calibur.

I voted GTA 4, but Uc4 is a close 2nd. With other games I disagree with (like Journey or MGS) I at least can see what others see in it.

Just no. It was a groundbreaking fighting game that absolutely deserved the 10 score. Just because the series has gone backwards doesn't mean you get to retrospectively score down the original.

MGS4 sucks balls. It was the game I bought a PS3 for, and after the first level it all went downhill. Terrible game.

All the above... The only game in my lifetime that comes close to a 10/10 score is HALO CE.

As for me, I always said it's overrated. Not saying it's bad, but it's certainly more an 8 than a 10 in my opinion
