Saint Row series, since it is fun and outlandish as heck. Or are we talking about building/crafting sandbox games?SpruceCabooseYes were talking about the building and crafting sandbox games, ya' know the one's listed above in the poll.
One of my Personal favourites was Mercenaries 1. Though, out of the current scheme of things I would have to say Minecraft. I haven't played Dwarf Fortress and I cannot get pass the graphics style (Hurts my eyes, love the retro idea though. But my eyes cannot handle it, sadly).
EDIT: Got toadd San Andreas and Just Cause 2 to the list.

And here you find that I along with many others find premade sandbox games to be more fun. Preference and all that.
starhawk
campzor
I actually forgot it basically is a sandbox shooter. To bad most teammates I play with are terrible at it
What systems is Dwarf Fortress on ?, i'm curious, don't think i've heard of this game.Dwarf Fortress has so much depth, and is the most enjoyable build and create sandbox title for me.
Maroxad

The problem I see with DF is the tutorial (if you can call it that) blows and the controls are some of the worst I have seen since back in the DOS days, really bad. That said if you can manage to push yourself to learn it then it is really pretty unique.Dwarf Fortress has so much depth, and is the most enjoyable build and create sandbox title for me.
