Choice 2 no questions asked. PS2 and Dreamcast alone are better than the other choices. Also, choice 3 is the worst.
If u put it like that, PS1/N64/Sega Saturn because dreamcast, xbox, GC, PS3 360 and wii sucks PS1= Once you u got use to games now loading, PS1 games rewarded ppl high quality games and it is my fav system of all time N64= It had it's moments but N64 was no Snes Sega Saturn= I havent played it much PS2= PS2 could have easliy been my fav but overtime my franchise games got boring with the like of Madden, Smackdown . Sure God OF War 1/2 and San Andreas was top notch games as well as other older games i enjoyed during the PS2 era like GTA 3, Vice City, MGS2 etc, but ,Madden, Smackdown and sports games started to suck. Dreamcast- Overated Xbox- Custom soundtrack feature was nice move but if xbox was all about xbox live and halo then boooo GC- This system was worst then N64 PS3/360= This gen sucks compared to previous gens. Wii= Plz1.

What? I thought the TC was asking which generation was our favorite? :?
choice 1 with choice 2 coming in at a close second.
N64 was teh beastliness wit hgames lioke
Banjo Kazooie
Perfect Dark
Goldeneye
Mario 64
Donkey Kong 64
Smash B ros
... the list goes on and on I could list probably around 100 excellent clas sics from that gen. (same thing with choice too but it has a bit less imho.)
16-Bit, easily. SNES and Genesis were both godly.
Out of your selection, they're all about equal, imo. I thought PS2 was overrated. Then again, I only really loved about 10 games on it.

yes.. & i picked 3.. sorry for misleading with my comment.. but that's my favorite gaming year.. which happens to be in this generation :)choice 2, great generation. Not to mention the best of the generation prior were ported over or still possible to play.
Choice 1: The peak for the Final Fantasy Franchise, Mario 64, Spyro, Crash, Orcarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Metal Gear Solid, Star Fox 64, Chrono Cross, The Banjo Series....
Where's the 16 bit? I didn't think I was that old. :(
Uh, I guess the 32/64 bit would be second best era for me then. 128 bit era was pretty good too, but the current gen sucks.
I still have fond memories of my Gamecube. The Wavebird may never be beaten as my top game controller of all time.
5th gen by FAAAR.
I grew up rockin with the PS1(that console was godly), and Ill always be a 1990's kid.
Choose from the options that I have given please. [QUOTE="cowgriller"]Choice 0

why? you left out one of the best, if not the best console generations. sure i had fun with my playstation, n64, xbox and xbox 360, but they can't compare to the fun i had with the Genesis.
a tie between 1 and 2 1 was my childhood, and i have a lot of great memories 2 was when i got more into gaming, buying every console, buying loads of great gamesakif22
Between Either Choice 1 or Choice 2 Choice 1 I played the N64 the most out of any Console and PS1 also had some games I liked.
Choice 2 I had 3 of the 4 consoles and played them all my Friend had an Xbox. All of them were great also the GCN is my favorite console of all time So far.
I also like this gen but this gen is actually the gen I actually played Handheld games other gens I bought Handhelds but I hardly had any games for them.
I liked the 16 Bit era and the 8 bit era. But I don't really remember the games I remember alot of them but not some of the NES games I had/played I remember all the SNES games I played and I remember about half of the Genesis games I had/played. But when the 32/64 bit era came around I was 10 years old when it started so I could remember it fully.
Choice 2 was my choice, and most agree, though I also have a place in my heart for the PS1/N64 era. I was completely addicted to gaming back then.
Not really fair to judge this cycle's library to those two. It isn't even halfway through and it has already produced some absolutely fantastic games.
