It's in the same boat as GRAW 1 on the 360 i'd say.

It's so different that it's considered a different game but shares the same name. Whether sonic is that different remains to be seen though.

I wouldn't say it's exclusive, I'd just say it's a different version. I know that's probably not the best way to describe it, but it has the same gameplay mechanics, level themes (not designs), characters, story, and probably some other things I'm forgetting, so I'll just go with different version.towelie892
