Looking forward to doom eternal got to the end boss of doom 2016 and my game save corrupted so couldn't finish it. Gutted an understatement but doom is the benchmark for FPS taking away the halo series.

Far cry and wolfenstein. Going to be way better than doom and metro for sure!

Not one of those games interest me, but the genre is one of my least liked.

If Far Cry: New Dawn has Reset Outpost Mode, I'll buy it. I sorely miss not having it in FC5. If not, it goes down to the very bottom of the list.

Atomic Heart looks good. It just might drive me to buy an RTX video card. The game should be bundled with one.

Had a love hate relationship with far cry loved 3 hated 4 hated primal love 5. New Dawn has my interest after enjoying 5 so much.

I'm almost the opposite, as I've played FC 3,4,5 & Primal, and liked 3 & primal whereas 4 & 5 were shit and just were basically the same game, and the new game looks the worst so much so i'm done with the series and pretty much FPS.

So. What will differentiate Doom: Eternal from Doom: 2016 apart from where the game takes place? People rag on Ubisoft for being derivative. Yet, I get the feeling Doom: Eternal will be doing the same thing.

What makes FC 4 and 5 basically the same game? What are the things you saw that make them look and feel the same?

All game series have a familiarity that fans (aka buyers, moolah machines) like. Make them too different and they (the fans) walk away.

Look at Fallout 4. Bethesda made it somewhat different from its previous Fallout games and up came a lot of b*tch*ing and moaning about it not being true to the series.

I really feel sorry for developers sometimes. Who the hell are they supposed to listen to? If I was a developer, I'd quit making games.

I felt 4 was just more of the same of 3, and felt the same about 5. Yes its a double edged sword when it comes to sequels that if they are too similar fans complain about nothing being new, and if they go to far then fans complain that its not familiar. I do think they found the right balance between new & old with Primal, and maybe they should go futuristic something like they did with the Mars dlc for 5.

cyberpunk is not FPS. its RPG hybrid. same reason why i didnot include outer worlds that is one of my most anticipated game. and is also FPS/RPG.

RTCW was amazing game. only good wolfenstein game.

but calling wolfenstein new order and colossus a COD is insult because COD 1 and 2 were really good with 2 being best in series still.

even modern warfare 1 and 2 are billion times better than wolfenstein games and they are not even a good games lol.

wolfenstein 2 is like among the worst game this generation with tomb raider.

So you think that because people own consoles they are poor lol, I have a PC that I brought 2yrs ago for a $1000 and it does nothing but sits in the corner and my youngest plays one of the Asphalt games on it, sorry to break it to you but there are people out there who don't care for PC gaming or graphics for that matter.

I would have liked Doom 5 more if them made it a sequel to original Doom 3. Arena shooters get boring really fast Doom 4 was too boring.( just kill enemies,go to the next room repeat)

I replayed Doom 3 recently and that was far less boring than Doom 4.

Never said everyone with consoles and no PC is poor. I just find it a bit weird to hamper your gaming when you can afford not to. Buying a $1000 PC when you don't really want one is also weird.
