Whats the best modern war COD?

Hmm. Cancer, Ebola, Tuberculosis, or Malaria? Tough choice.

I suppose... ...the original COD4: MW was alright. I just really hated the trend it started. "Oh, we had a player character die in the last game? We'll up the ante by having TWO player characters die this time!"

CoD4 MW Remastered, all the other ones this gen have SUCKED.

Hard to remember, but I think the original Modern Warfare was actually pretty good. I think Modern Warfare went nuts with all of the killstreaks. 3 was the first one without Vince. The new Modern Warfare is great too. Pretty fun and loads of content. I will go with that one.

MW2. Great campaign, fun multiplayer and cool spec-ops mode. Not to mention the local play, which was awesome.

the remastered version was overpriced. exact same as before. minor visual improvement. waste of time.

MW2 and now Warzone, not even close.

Cod 4

I tolerated CoD4.

@Litchie: I thought MW2 was better than COD4. COD4 had shitty endless respawn enemies and some of most generic, bland missions ie US campaign in middle east.

For this regard MW2 done better.

None COD is for casuals.

Get Warzone, it's free and has a mode called plunder which is a lot like a base game mode. If I had to pick one of those I'd say the original cod4.

MW1 > MW2 > MW3 > MW

I’d go with Modern Warfare 2. It had a very enjoyable campaign and the multiplayer was a total blast.

All trash. And that list is missing Fortnite, it'd fit it perfectly.

I quit the series after MW2, came back for the new MW, but id say the newest MW is the best, pretty much improved upon the rest, its solid mechanically

The newest thanks to the BR. It's probably the best BR I've played, honestly.

Regular CoD multiplayer has always been kind of trash, but at least the BR mixes it up a bit.

Problem with bots and overall design than the user end.

I prefer the black ops games to MW

I really liked some of the locations in the MW2 campaign, fighting in the suburbs outside DC, and through war torn streets of DC. I was psyched to see MW3 but the Infinity Ward and Activision fight really threw a wrench in that game being the game it needed to be. MW2 was basically the start of a modern WW3, and instead of playing that out they ended it in the start.
