whats better for a 42" tv. 720p or 1080i?

I recently bought a 360 but im not sure which display is better for my 42" tv, if anyone has a tv about the same lenght as mine, please leave a comment

720p. Why? Likely you have a 720/766p TV native at that size.

1080i running at 60 frames per second, 1080i running at 24 frames per second is good too I guess but you might incounter some blurring. (Well, then I gess 1080i30 is also preferable...)

yeah, I was getting confused, I was thinking of broadcasted TV.... (each field runs at 60fps)
