What will TITANFALL score on GS?

9 for extra lolz and 8 realistically

Also,not sure why you included 8.X and 9.X since GS doesn't give half-points anymore

I'm thinking we're in AAA territory. Even though it's the most fun I've had playing a game in a long, long time, the lack of single player may immediately remove AAAA consideration from some reviewers minds.

If I were reviewing it on pure fun alone, AAAA.

I'll say 8, and probably a comment on the lack of offline/singleplayer

I'll go big and hype AAA. The press loved it when it was revealed and they got the chances to play it, always stating it was a game that you needed to play to understand. Well the beta is out and many are explaining how much fun it is. It may not be a game for me but I'm glad to hear so many are loving it.

I'm 80% sure Titanfall will score a 9, and 20% it will score a 10. I'm thinking 9 though. Launching with 15 maps (9 for the campaign multiplayer) and normal multiplayer, along with 10 game modes

And just playing the hell out of the game since last Friday, I can without a shadow of a doubt say this game will score a 9 and could be a 10. It is just that damn good, period. My score is a very solid 9.

@blue_hazy_basic: My score comes from playing the game itself alot the past couple of days. Kinect Sports for my son is coming soon. And multiplats are games too, lol. Not like the One won't have games to play. Indie games are coming soon too in March. But yeah, Titanfall is the biggest and the best so far.

The beta was fun, but I got bored after a day or two. I still think the 6v6 is a dumb idea.

I think that's accurate. As for the perfect score potential, it may not happen at GS (really stingy with that rating), but it's likely to happen elsewhere. Probably more than once, the game is outstanding.

Yea but GS gives a couple of 10's/gen. Titanfall is not going to get a 10.

It also doesn't help that this game is very early gen, so it's even less likely it'll get a perfect 10. I'm struggling to imagine another upcoming shooter being any better, though.

What's wrong with Origin? It used to annoy me that I had to have another launch client on my comp, but I don't care quite as much anymore.

Meh, Origin's fine, the downloads speeds have been pretty amazing lately as well, considerably faster than Steam.

I'm hyping it 9, though I can see them giving it an 8 with a silly reason. Like @sts106mat says, they shouldn't dock points for it being multiplayer only the same way a singleplayer only game wouldn't have points docked for not including a multiplayer component (unless it was ridiculously short, and then the issue is the length anyway).

Shocking that you would say such a thing. Over half of your posts in the last month have been negative ones towards the Xbone. Would I expect a postive comment from you about its biggest game when you've been so anti Bone? :P

But everyone has an opinion. I would be willing to wager than 90% of the people who've put a few hours int the beta think the game is awesome.

I'm guessing a 9 after playing it. Very solid MP game. Playing the beta made me want to buy the game instead of renting.

I dont think so since it's a multi play to begin with, Unless of course we celebrate each consoles multi plat scores, if so, yeah for PS4 getting 9.0 on AC Black Flag. Awww yeahhhhh :D

Sorry, i didn't realise i mentioned the xbone 720p. Played PC Beta for a good 4/5 hours.... not impressed. Nothing against the bone...... not relating to Titanfall anyway. its just not an exhilarating game and for me at least, doesn't compare to the likes of Battlefield (isn't battlefield on the bone too?)

As for the Bone, yeah you are right.. its a total POS but thats besides the point here really aint it? thanks for bringing it up though, although love a chance to slam some lems :)

Gots to be a 9. The beta was easily the most unique and refreshing fps experience ive had in a long time.

7.5, maybe 8.0. Not a bad game, just nothing very new or refreshing here. No campaign either hurts.

I have very little love for EA basically and since Sim City I'm more or less boycotting.

Getting a used x1 today with coupe games and extra controller plug and play for 500 bucks. Gonna reserve this game. You guys hype better not disappoint me!

Hidden behind the resolution gate and 6x6 debate, Titanfall will be the true test of integrating cloud-computing into video games. No, I am not talking cloud streaming like Gaikai or OnLive. Titanfall is the first game (that I know of) to use cloud-infrastructure to host servers. Titanfall servers will be hosted on the Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure which has the ability the scale up & down automatically based on demand. The capacity of Titanfall servers will theoretically be limitless. Players will have the same consistent experience providing that there is a datacenter within acceptable distance and that their internet connection is sufficient. Update to server codes will also be seamless to users - players will not get kicked out during the update. What this could mean is the start of the end of p2p, dedicated servers that always get filled up, and player-hosted servers. As a person who works in IT, I am excited for this.

My personal hype is 9. I was one of the many people hating on the game... but I got a random beta key, played it.... and oh my god..... loving it so much more than BF4 / CoD Ghosts (which I hated.) .. its even dragged me away from Team Fortress 2 (an achievement in itself).

It won't. Seriously, there's a greater amount of depth here than you think at first, and the action is just a motherf#cking Michael Bay movie at times. "Xbox Record That" will be used for this game more than any other this far. Maybe even all year.

The media and the public in general have been fapping to this game like crazy. I dont know if it will be deserved or not cause I'm not really into competitive FPS multiplayer but I doubt I'll agree with it. The forums will go ape shit though, so it'll be interesting to see. I'll sit back and enjoy the show

Based on what I played, 9.0. Multiplayer is top notch, really intrigued to see how the campaign multiplayer side of things works.

My fear is that the campaign stuff will drag it down score wise
