What will be your First game of 2021

Hello friends,

New year started. now what will be your first game of this year that is going to release this year?

For me its not other than

Hitman 3

Releasing 20 Jan, only 20 days left. Masterpiece of franchise, and best and only good stealth series left. plus its also last Hitman in trilogy and last Hitman game for while before IO move to making original Bond game.

Hitman is such a great start of 2021.

Not sure yet but I’m thinking of picking up either Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Cyber Shadow, or The Yakuza Remastered Collection coming to Xbox One in January. Those are the January games that have my interest right now.

Might be Outriders (February). If not, definitely Mass Effect Legendary Edition (Spring).

Either Monster Hunter Rise or Persona 5 Strikers.

No idea, I don't plan my purchases, that's the best way to be.

It was Red Dead Online. Boring. Glad I only paid 5 dollars. Will never play the real game.

Oh, released this year. I don't know. I'm very patient for good discounts, and nothing grabs my attention anyway.

Maybe Cyber Shadow. Looks like a love letter to the NES Ninja Gaiden trilogy. Was super pumped when I saw Yacht Club games, but then saw they're just the publisher lol. Not sold, but keeping an eye on it.

At the very least, will scoop Nioh 2 PC when that drops.

Don't know but the game that I am interested for 2021 is Resident Evil Village.

First game I will play in 2021? DOOM Eternal. I just beat the Mars level.

Now that we are in 2021, I'll be focusing on clearing my backlog errr game collection on PC and the only new game I'm looking forward is Mass Effect: Legendary Edition as my first 2021 pick up game which will be release in June 2021.

For PC hardware, I'll be upgrading my GPU/CPU (RTX 3070 & R7: 5800X) so that's what I'm gonna do for 2021.

Edit: I almost forgot to say that I will be playing The Medium on Jan 28th 2021 but I have GP, not really a pick up, just renting it.

My last was Demon's. My first will be Demon's. When i am done with it, i don't even know what to get. CP2077 is the only game currently released that interests me, but i refuse to play a T pose simulator until is fully fixed.

I am also very interested in MH Rise, but Dumbcom decided to release it on a wrong system.

First new game of 2021 will probably be monster train, heard a lot of good stuff about and just noticed it’s in game pass so will definitely play this one of these next days.

As for new games in 2021, I have no idea. Not really into hitman any more as every game is basically a rehash of the last, with less fresh ideas than even the assassins creed series!

Oh well that’s how it is when a series become mainstream I guess, good for the casual that likes it though!

You have got to be kidding me! Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 releases this year!!! I know you was excited for that right?

Not sure what Nintendo will release, but I sure hope its Metroid Prime Trilogy at the very least.

As soon as in done with cyberpunk, im diving into one of the following:

Jedi: fallen order

Salt and sanctuary

Death stranding

Metro exodus

Probably in that order.

My current video card crushes the first two games, but I want a 3080 before diving into either death stranding or exodus.

My first 2021 game will be Outriders (PS5). Releases next month.

The first game that I played this year was Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I played it from before midnight until after midnight last night, watching the New Year’s countdown and fireworks in the game.

i've still got hitman season 2 sat waiting to play from a steam sale a while ago. was a bit lukewarm to season 1 so won't be pulling the trigger on season 3 any time soon, unless s2 proves much better. other than that there's nothing on my immediate release radar. eyeing up ghostrunner on egs after enjoying the demo over christmas

As far as new games go, I can't say. We shall see.

The Medium at least, will be on Game Pass. I might consider Hitman 3 if it promises to make excellent use of 9th gen systems, otherwise I still need to play the last couple Hitman games. Up in air about Far Cry 6, Ubisoft didn't make a big impression with the latest Watch Dog or Assassin's Creed games so just not excited there.

Just got Mirror's Edge Catalyst and played a little after midnight last night before bed. So, that.

Likely, Persona 5: Strikers if I get that at launch. I don't really know what else is coming out this year.

Nothing so far. My next game is a game from last year, Nioh 2 on PC. In the meanwhile it's just more free games. Right now I'm playing Rebel Galaxy.

Actually maybe ill do death stranding next. Did more digging, and didn't realize just how well optimized it is on pc.

I also have a huge backlog on gamepass. Just started control, and I want to play hivebusters and get back to day z now that it runs well on xsx. The medium also launches on GP in Jan.

I picked up the Tony Hawk remaster on January 1st I think, and Death Stranding yesterday, but haven't started either of them yet.

as for games coming out in 2021, probably Nioh 2 on PC? though honestly i'm not that excited for it, might wait for a sale before picking it up. loved Nioh 1 but this just sounds more like a DLC for the first game than a proper sequel and i'm just not really looking forward to it for some reason
