What will be the biggest bombshells from E3 2014?

I think their are going to be some huge, major announcements from MS, Sony and Nintendo at E3 this year. The question is which company will drop the biggest megaton bombshell that could well shape the early part of this generation of consoles. Will it be a game? Will it be a new price point? Will be it a franchise exclusivity that was previously multiplat? What say you?

Sony will i mean they have Uncharted and the rumored Souls game and only one of them is enough to make some huge hype.

thats not counting the rumored re-reveal of last guardian, playstation version of titanfall and the other secret games.

Sony are streaming their conference in theaters nationwide for a reason.

Sony will have tons of re-makes. Re-makes everywhere. The will use stage time to show TLOU on the PS4 like it will be the first time anyone has seen the damn thing. Hyping rehashes. Get used to it.

I would place my money on Microsoft dropping the biggest bombshells.

They already dropped some pretty big bombshells earlier this month that would have put all of the attention on them if they would have waited to make those announcements at E3. Since they did not wait until E3 for those announcements, it leads me to believe that they have even bigger things planned for E3.

Plus, after their embarrassing E3 last year, I think Microsoft wants to win this year's E3 the most and will work the hardest and spend the most money to make sure that happens.

@ShoTTyMcNaDeS: So far, it looks like MS and Sony blew their loads pre-E3; on their own or via leaks. Perhaps Nintendo will win this year.

I want to see what Nintendo to with regard to WiiU. Will they kinda sorta abandon it and just fire off a couple more sequels, or will they try and revive it with some big new exclusive games and 3rd party efforts.

I just hope Sony doesn't do its usual trick of trailers with bugger all gameplay, sketch release dates and then we get to see them again for the next 2 E3's before their real release.

I'd love Titanfall on the PS4 as I didn't buy the 1st time around and it would be nice to have a MP game for my PS4. And **** the haters about remasters, TLOU on the PS4 would be nice, not desperate to play it, but again a game I didn't play first time around.

I'll be pissed if FO 4 is a XB1 console exclusive, would love an new State of Decay game (on PC) but mainly I just want some games soon with ironclad release dates and not vague some quarter next year (probably, no honestly, well maybe) kind of nonsense.

Like I've said in another thread, I feel like the two companies that I'm expecting the most from are Nintendo and Ubisoft. They generally show great content each year, or rather, content I'm interested in.

I think the biggest Bombshells will be coming from Microsoft (The 3rd Party Exclusive rumor) and Nintendo (The Unannounced title that keeps popping up).

Sony already blew their big reveal of Demon Souls 2.

Biggest bombshell is if a game come out this year that's worth playing.

If Nintendo announces a new system more powerful than XO and PS4 with Wii-U backward compatible with traditional gamepad, Super Wii-U. Or they just partnered up with MS or Sony or something. That would be a megaton bombshell for me.

I think Zelda has a chance of being a big thing. I know MGSV isn't really on too many peoples radars right now, but I'm expecting Kojima to have some big surprises.

All I know is Uncharted is going to destroy everything that has been shown so far on consoles. And major third party games are going to be announced.

Microsoft has already dropped some serious bombs across Sony's bow. They were pretty significant announcements and exclusive games. I can only imagine what the really BIG announcements will be at the E3. Sony is lucky they are going 2nd this year. Microsoft should have gone after Sony, because we know Sony will be rushing and trying to make changes to their presentation after they see Microsoft's conference. There's no question about it.

Shadow of the Beast (not to be confused with Beast Souls). They showed a shitty GCI trailer for it before the PS4 was released and nothing since. Might be double beastly E3 :).

Red Dead Redemption 2 exclusive to next gen consoles and PC. I would kill for TESVI or Fallout 4 too, but apparently Bethesda wont show them any time soon :(

On Xbox, I think perhaps the Gears of War reboot will be disclosed, or at least I hope so. Maybe Perfect Dark too. It would be neat if they dropped the Fortaleza bomb, but I think that won't happen for another couple of years.

Why are some people assuming that RE7, or L4D3 would be XBONE exclusives. It makes more sense from a business standpoint for the devs to make both multiplat. Hell, for that matter, your insane to believe that Fallout 4 would be an XBONE exclusive either.

Microsoft would have to spend a whole lot of money to get a 3rd party developer to lose money trying to sell on a single platform.

Titanfall was on THREE Microsoft platforms and has promptly fallen off the face of the planet in only 3 months.

EA won't be making that mistake again. And I doubt DICE and/or LucasDisney will do that either.

I am sure there is $ compensation for the sales that are lost by not being on another console. I don't know if they calculate it or what but getting your money all up front sounds nicer than waiting for all the sales to trickle out over the next year.

Oh I hope it is interesting as well. But I don't think you should disregard it simply because of it's genre. Especially if it would be made by EAD.

There's just too many games using shooting mechanics these days. They'd really have to do something outside the box to make a dent in a genre that's heavily established/done to death on the other two consoles.

If early rumors do indeed turn out to be true and the basic multiplayer is going back to Halo 2 style, I will cry in joy.

As a gamer for over 20 years, it's arguably my favorite multiplayer game to date.
