What was the last game you bought on Day 1?

I bought Red Dead Redemption 2, which I still haven't had much time to get into lol. I'm considering selling my copy and waiting for the inevitable PC or next gen version at this point. The game itself is kinda slow.. I think that's why I didn't get into it right away.

None whatsoever. Games are too expensive.

Red dead 2 worth every penny other than that AC origins which I enjoyed.

I will also get re2 day 1.... dont even need to play the demo 1st.

I know what I like and I have never been disappointed in a day1 purchase.

If you include DLCs, then Sins of a Solar Empire: Minor Factions was also bought pretty close to release as well. If that's not technically "day 1," then Total War: Warhammer II: Curse of the Vampire Coast was also bought on the same day as SoulCalibur VI.

Day 1? Geesh, that’s a hard question. I play mostly online and most big games have launch issues so I usually wait a few months till they sort out the bugs. I think I bought Sea of Thieves on day one and it was bug free for the most part. A little light on content at launch, but Rare has steadily added good content which makes it fun and refreshing to revisit.

Oh yea, I bought that too on Day 1.

TW3. I really avoid preorders and day 1 purchases. It's giving money away too easily to lazy devs and flawed releases IMO. But sometimes you know what you are getting (e.g. TW3) and it's not such a risk

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe

I'll usually buy Nintendo games on Day 1 because they take forever to drop in price so there is no point in holding out for a price drop anytime soon. For most other games, I'll wait a few months for a price drop.

Probably a Dark Souls game.

Sega Ages Outrun on Switch.

The Next will be Resident Evil 2 probably the day before release.

There are a few upcoming games I'll buy day one (Metro Exodus, Mechwarrior 5 and Cyberpunk 2077) but in general I'm of the mind set that I'll wait and see for most games, especially AAA titles.
