This new Street Figher 6 song is pretty good. Makes me want to put a pair of gloves and give people hadouken uppercuts to all who cross my path.
How about you, SW? What video game soundtracks have you been listening to lately?

Doom Eternal soundtrack hits really hard. Perfect for the gym. The game itself sucks ass though.
DMC5 soundtrack specifically Nero's theme and Vergil's theme are fucking awesome too. excellent game to boot

For real, one of the best works Capcom has made to make Street Fighter feel cool again, legit good song.
Anyway, i've been listening some old SNK songs, the arrenged OSTs were the best.
Sonic Omens
Never played this fan game before, but it has some of the best video game music I've heard in recent years:
Sega should seriously consider using some of this fan music in an official Sonic game, like Frontiers, Mania 2 or Adventure 3.
@madsnakehhh: good video too

DOOM sounds like such a great soundtrack for the GYM lol. DMC too.
Xenoblade 3...whenever i am not playing the game. So far a few of my favs:
I tend not to listen to parts of game soundtracks until i hear them in game first (i dont jump ahead :P). I'm sure this is only the tip of the iceberg though. Bloody hell it's good. I don't know if it's quite Xenoblade 2 good yet...but it's dam good.
I've been dabbling with this on my bimonthly trips to fun-guy land :)
And I ALWAYS come back to this at some point. Man I miss scrolling through my games on PS3, and listening to the clips.
Doom music when working out, Persona 4/5 music when just working, and the rest are just whatever's on my playlist.
@omegamaster: what about this?
It's good, but I prefer the original FF7 music
NEO TWEWY, Sonic Adventure 2, Vergil's theme from DMCV. To be more specific with the first two:
@SolidGame_basic: The original Wall Market theme sounds quite dark and eery, while the Remake version sounds really bright and happy. I prefer the OG track.
The original version is a classic. I like both actually. But the Remake one gives me serious ear worm lol. I can’t get it out!!!
NEO TWEWY, Sonic Adventure 2, Vergil's theme from DMCV. To be more specific with the first two:
NEO TWEWY‘s was great, but I think I like the original’s more. Overall, the sequel was not bad, but didn’t have the same soul as the original. Though combat was great!
@SolidGame_basic: Imma take a stab defending NEO and say that I think the best thing is to not compare it to the original and look at it as a separate story in general. The original felt more "real" due to the fact that the main character was an ass that had to learn he wasn't the only one with problems and aspirations. Plus the way the world I that one was and the characters were more unforgiving and just as in-your-face as Neku. NEO doesn't have the same story beats as the original, the character's aren't as gritty because they aren't facing similar problems and coming to some harsh, but honest truths. In turn it is more lighter. It's best to separate the two because of how totally different each one is.
I love both, but NEO does edge out in certain parts, one of them I feel is in the soundtrack department.
I really enjoyed the live session video from SNK's sound team that played during EVO yesterday, mostly KOF tracks, but also some from SamSho and Fatal Fury. My favorites being the second one, Esaka from KOF96, and the last one, Geese's Theme from Fatal Fury Special. I'd love to see more performances like this from fighting game devs.

Yea it was hard to care about the new characters in NEO. And then towards the end it became about the original. Just didn’t have the same emotional pull. OST was good, though I’m still leaning toward the original. Had a certain originality and energy to it.
@SolidGame_basic: I think what you are talking about was a criticism that I found briefly going through my head when I was playing it which was that NEO was more of an epilogue to the original, not so much of a sequel, to a story that wasn't originally even in the original TWEWY. An indication I'd how most of the soundtrack is remixes to the original soundtrack (which made them much better after listening to the old versions. The One Star is one of those). Outside of that, it is the only thing I can bring myself to say because I love the game too much and its characters. It actually made me really like Beat's character (hence the profile picture).

I’m surprised Square Enix doesn’t have a Bring Arts figure for Beat.
