What second entry to a new IP are you looking forward to the most?

Lots of sequels, remasters and remakes this gen. But also some new IPs like Horizon, Spiderman (well the IP isn’t new, but this series is), Bloodborne and whatever the other systems did (Arms?). And lots of third party ones like Control and Jedi Fallen Order just to randomly name two.

What new IP do you think were good, but the next-gen sequel could be masterful?

For me it’s probably Spiderman actually. Thought the core was very sound, but it also had a lot of nonsense that could hopefully be sandpapered away while expanding the combat and movement options.

Horizon: Zero Dawn, Marvel's Spider-Man PS4, (made by Insomniac Games) Bloodborne, & Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order were among the newest IP games I really enjoy the most, I hope they all get a good sequel into next-gen, I would also add The Order: 1886 into seeing The Order: 1887 cause that last game had a cliffhanger, I want to see what happened to Galahad's storyline and this time Sony, give it to a better developer.

An actual AAA The Outer Worlds sequel would be great.

Hat In Time 2 would be lovely.

I would LOVE to see a Hyrule Warriors 2. I just love Hyrule Warriors so very much.

Man, I'd love to see another Day of Infamy. It really was my favourite online shooter in the past years. It has this perfect blend of arcady with more realistic/skillful gameplay. It need coordination, teamplay, but also it didn't really need any of those things. You could just jump into a match and have fun. It was polished in the right aspects, and it was rough in aspects where it didn't matter that much. It had sections with extreme detail like weapon reloads and correct uniforms, which really added to the immersion and moment-to-moment gameplay.

I'm also still hoping we get an Age of Mythology 2 one day

TLoU 2.

Really enjoyed this as well but it ran like shit for some reason.

I want to say Sleeping Dogs 2 but that was at the tail end of last gen and it's sequel got cancelled but damn what I wouldn't give to have a second SD game it deserves it we deserve it!!!!

They cranked the effects in the old ass Source engine up to 11 and forgot to optimize it, that is basically the gist of it.

Respawn did a way better job with modernizing the engine for Titanfall 1&2.

Yeah, that was just a major bummer.

Hearing SD2 got cancelled, and we were getting an online spin off instead, which also got cancelled.

Make The Order 1886 as a semi open world game (similar to The Outer World word structure), with rpg elements and a proper dev behind it, and this sequel has huge potential. I guess Bloodborne 2 is another game that could be insanely good, especially if this time around its running at 60fps and have a proper engine with lighting/textures that aren't from 2008.

• Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night
• Dragon’s Dogma
• Dragon Ball FighterZ

United Front Games went bankrupt and its why SD2 never went to development but they did had plans for a sequel. I don't know why Square Enix just simply can't give it to someone else? Sleeping Dogs was awesome, still holds up well on PC.

Also, The Order 1886.. I believe the game still needs a tight control over its story but, they do need to move the game from linear experience to a more open ended map at least like TLoU where the map is big enough for you to loot and do stealth and whatever else modern game requires. Really enjoyed the world of The Order.

Was it really the developers fault? I got the feeling they had the directive to make a visually stunning launch game and not much else. Perhaps they didn’t have the time and resources to focus on building some deeper gameplay.

I think that franchise is dead sadly, because it has a bit of a loser tag attached to it. It’s sad because as an IP it was super cool and I agree that it really deserves a second chance.

For the first time ever I am not looking forward to any upcoming games let alone a sequel to current franchises.

but hellblade 2 is a game with a story behind it. which equals a movie game. going to flop in sales because remember xbox players don't like story driven games.

Partially true but what you're forgetting is there will be millions if not billions (lol) of this gen cows converting to next gen lems and as such, movie games on Mighty XSX will be selling like very hot chocolate on a cold subzero day. :P
