What price point would motivate you to buy a Wii U?

The WiiU is $249.99?

I'd consider it for $200 and a copy of Super Smash Bros.

I'm already motivated. I'm just not in a position to buy one at the moment.

you're just asking for it by including anything lower than $199.99

$250 is a fair price imo. $200 is the sweet spot. For what it currently offers and what it will get in the future I feel it's too expensive currently.

at the moment a wiiu with a game goes for 290 euros here (premium version of course).
i wouldnt buy it for that price.

a wiiu and 6 (5 of which i wanted to buy...the 6th was free to all intents and purposes) games for 370 euros...all brand spanking new. that....that i did buy.

I've thought about this a lot and in all earnest I think £150 is my breaking point.

Considering the power of the hardware and the fact that it will miss out on literally all major multiplatform games over the next 5 years, yes $300 is too much currently

Yeah I thought I was getting into too much of a Gray area separating the different SKUs so keep in mind that's the basic version so add 30-50$ on each price point if you'd only go for the 32G. Easiest way to go about it IMO.

Speaking of which does anyone actually know what it cost Nintendo ATM to put a Wii U on the shelves?

I have bought a Wii U after their fantastic E3 and ... I think of selling it, it isn't as fun as I thought it would be. I still love my 3DS but this is really not that fun and I just saw that almost every games that I love ended up being either Sony exclusive or multiplat. Like right now I enjoy Bravely Default a lot not so much mario stuff.

Also Mario Kart 8 will get old very fast unlike a game like Unreal you don't have mutator to transform the game into something different

I was gonna go with $200 just for the system but then I realized how much of a rip off a 32gb Wii-U is and it doesn't look like Nintendo is gonna release a Wii-poo with a bigger storage device.

$299.99 with a remake of one of the greatest games of all time packaged in and I'll buy one.

$199 Holiday bundle. (i.e. with at least 2 games, although I would take the MK8 bundle for $199 as well).

It would be cool if there were more special edition bundles, like when there was a red Wii or Wal-Mart had the exclusive blue Wii one black Friday. I'd love a blue Wii-U. I'm a sucker for special edition consoles (have Pokemon yellow 3DS, Gold Zelda 3DS, blue PS3, getting the white PS4, etc).
