Third, it is pretty clear that the 360 sold the most. The PC will eventually overtake the total sales of the PS3 and 360 but, like all PC games, that takes time as PC games never have really massive day one launches except for rare occasions.

Have a look at www.bf3stats.com have put it in my post.where does it say the amount sold. DID NOT SAY SOLD, said has the most amount of players. The stats show how many players are on right now.
360 sold the most copies so I think it stands to reason that that's the platform with the most players. I don't trust these numbers on the account of them being weird.

I guess the numbers vary a lot over a day because the market is vastly different in Europe compared to the US. In Germany, it sold over 200'000 on PS3 and PC and 500'000 total within the first days.

No, people discredit them because they make guesses. They don't include DD either. They've been proven incredibly inaccurate many times. Even NPD is barely reliable, but at least they're somewhat accurate.

No, because they're a website that completely hides its sourcing, and features sales data that is frequently inaccurate, and changes depending on actual NPD or results to shareholders - as well as ignoring a large percentage of the market. They only exist for squabbling faboys to throw their 'stats' at eachother, which in itself is quite sad.
