What NEW 1st party games is Sony gonna announce at E3?

Besides updates to Last of Us 2, GT Sport, GoW, Days Gone, Dreams...etc etc, what NEW games is Sony gonna show us at E3?

I'm guessing most likely Sucker Punch game and FROM Software collaboration.

Also hoping for a surprise! Maybe a sequel/reboot to Dark Cloud, Medievil, Ape Escape or some other old ips. Maybe a new Studio or 3rd party collaboration like Bloodborne.

Yep sucker punch will definitly announce their new ip this e3, they have been gone for too long, a bloodborne 2 would be glorious too.

What is Japan studion working on? Maybe we will get something from them, not expecting many new exclusives personally, just showing gameplay/release date of what they've announced would be great.

Spiderman and Death Stranding aren't 1st party games, not sure if that was your intention or not, but the presentation makes it look like this would be the case.

They've got some exclusive deals going on so I'd put them as 1st party, like Bloodborne is 1st party. I think Sony will publish them and even own the ips as Sony likes to.

Maybe you'd call then 2nd party or something?

With Sony who knows. They have so many classic ips they can resurrect it's scary, and they love to introduce new ips to their portfolio. Things you can be certain of though 1: More God of War gameplay 2: Some Spiderman gameplay, and the official title of the Spiderman game 3: Sucker Punch new ip finally revealed.

Now since Deep Down has not been cancelled, I'm hoping that game gets re-introduced to the public with a release date and some updated gameplay.

Don't know, but if there isn't a racing game announced, then i don't give a shit for the usual stuff Sony puts out, and besides wouldn't you rather Sony announce some solid release dates for the games they've already announced? not add a more that you won't see until 2020 at the earliest.

GG is about to release a new IP and Naughty Dog just announced TLOU 2. Nice failed troll attempt though. Just because MS only has 3 franchises doesn't mean Sony does too.

would love another uncharted game not the dlc but a proper sequel to uncharted 4 and give us jax and daxter remaster.

None needed since the Bore & Poo have been nothing more than multiplat consoles and soon to be tossed to the dust bin when Mighty Scorpio hits the street.

Now that Project Siren / Team Gravity are done with Gravity Rush 2, I'd like to see them make a new Siren game for the PS4.

It is sad that Sony relies on rehashing the same tired franchises over and over. People get tired of Uncharted/Killzone/Gran Turismo over and over. They need to stop relying on those 3 franchises. Keep trolling, we got your number NDS!

So true, X1 gamers got Halo Wars 2 coming in a couple weeks, the Only worthwhile RTS on consoles and this one gone-b-gud plus Rare's most ambitious game ever, super extravaganza New IP and no other console has anything like it, Sea of Thieves. Sometimes I almost feel guilty getting all this goodness. MS is like Trump, I'm already tired of Winning. lololol :P

I know, right? MS is gonna KILL MY WALLET this year with Tacoma, Below, Crackdown 3, Raiden V, Halo Wars 2, Gigantic, Forza Motorsport 7, Sea of Thieves, Ashen, Cuphead, State of Decay 2, Phantom Dust! And not only that, a new console, the worlds most powerful console, Scorpio baby! Which will be also the place for the DEFINITIVE versions of all the multiplatform games. I will be rolling in Read Dead 2, Ghost Recon, Mass Effect, Prey, Tekken 7, Destiny 2, Battlefront 2, Project Cars 2....all in glorious Scorpio quality. Then add all that to the games I am getting on the PS4 like Nier, Horizon, Gran Turismo and God of War.

Might have to take out a loan, or two or bakers dozen LOL ;P

Sony's focus right now is probably The Last of Us 2, Crash Bandicoot, and God of War.

Though I just want to see more of Final Fantasy VII Remake, Shenmue 3, and Kingdom Hearts 3. Not Exclusives, but they have Sony focus.

All the first party stuff from Sony in the works at the moment is plenty. Updates on those are fine. A release date for Detroit and the God of War reboot would be welcome.

I would hope that Uncharted Lost Legacy is released by then.

Or that they own the franchise. Like how Ratchet and Clank and Halo were considered first party games(when Sony didn't own Insomniac, and Microsoft didn't own Bungie, I'm not sure about 343 and if MS owns them or not). No way that is going to happen with Spider-Man of course.

Time to see the long waited shenmue 3 in action. Also I guess game from Sucker Punch.

In terms of a First-Party IP, or a Sony-owned IP, I'm really hoping for a Bloodborne 2 announcement. I thought it was coming earlier, but instead The Last of Us Part II was announced. I won't argue. :P

Other than that, I dunno. Hoping for some new, original IPs that are different than what they currently have coming.

Am I the only one who considers Dark Souls and Bloodborne part of the same IP? I just figured when Miyazaki says he's done with Dark Souls that includes Bloodborne and Demon's Souls as well. I would love to be wrong as they are some of my favorite games, I just get the sense that he wants to do something different.

1st party = made by in house studio

3rd party = made by outside studio

2nd party = doesn't exist

obviously we see 3rd party exclusives. games like bloodborne, death stranding, Ratchet and clank, sunset overdrive, titanfall 1 etc were 3rd party exclusive deals

insomniac is independent. they aren't owned by sony or MS or any big company. MS owned bungie before the xbox launched. they purchased them when Bungie was making halo for PC as a RTS game and MS had them make it a FPS to launch with the Xbox. 343 is a in house studio created by MS to develop the halo franchise.

Spiderman is a weird one because sony owns the spiderman character because of sony pictures

I view them as different IPs, but when he said he was done with Souls I had the feeling Bloodborne was thrown into that mix as well. Really, I have no idea if Bloodborne 2 is a possibility but I can hope!

I guess if IP refers to the world and lore then it's different - although I'm sure there are some YouTube Souls lorists out there that could find some tie ins.

Sony latetly delivering epicness on their shows. Game after game and announcement after announcement. Its getting ridiculous.

a demon's souls remaster is also likely. sony owns the IP so it's their decision.

Sony has so much games that i wouldn't worry. Be worried about MS cuz other than announcing Halo 6 for fall 2018 you ain't getting shyte this E3.
