What March game(s) are you most looking forward to?

So far, 2021 has been pretty meh, but February was not bad. I'm still looking forward to Persona 5 Strikers coming on Tuesday. And there's also Bravely Default 2 coming out this week. But we move on from February, and start to look at March. I will definitely be trying out Apex Legends on Switch. If it really is 60fps, that's pretty cool. Crash 4 coming to Switch is pretty cool too, but I already played it. I think the only other big title I'm curious about is Monster Hunter Rise, but I usually don't get into Monster Hunter games. The demo was cool tho, so we'll see. How about you, SW? What March game(s) are you most looking forward to?

Disco elysium for ps5 will be great. March is a weak month.

Until when did Sony paid to keep Disco away from other systems?

I'm looking forward to Monster Hunter Rise. It may seem a bit downgraded from MHW, but I'm interested in its new settings, monsters, and mechanics.

If I would buy something, I'd be Evil Genius 2.

But I'm not going to buy anything until May, that month looks packed:

• GTA V: Natural Vision Evolved free release

Three months in and 2021 is worse than 2020... awesome. I might look into Monster Hunt Rise, Yakuza Like a Dragon (waited until it hit PS5), perhaps Kena (since PS5 games are practically non existent to this point), Disco.. probably not.. bleh..

Kena might be a good reason to get gamepass for a month IF the game is good and is on gamepass.

Nothing for March. Bravely Default will probably tie me over, and i've been meaning to restart Xeno 2 and finally finish the game.

@lundy86_4: what made you get back into Xeno 2? Is it because of the new Smash DLC?

More that i've nothing to play atm and 3D World got me playing the Switch again. I got pretty far, but never finished the game.

Monster Hunter Rise will give me weeks if not months of gameplay.

Got Werewolf Earthblood and Mario 3DW+ to tide me over until then. If I finish both, have plenty on the backlog.

...but I will also check out the Disco update. Having this game fully narrated would be a huge change. Lets see if they pulled it off

Kena is the only new release with any appeal to me. Planning on sticking with the backlog up until Returnal, most likely.

Next games on my plate are Streets of Rage 4, 13 Sentinels, and either Far Cry 5 or The Messenger.

Note to self: need to get a harvest moon game for the switch at some point. not next month though....i have enough games.

Also note to self: get back into stardew valley at some point.

anyway i will wait for the PC version of MH:R. other than that looks like a quiet month.....thank god! i have a lot of Ys and a fair chunk of monster hunter world still ahead of me. oh woe is me for i have too many games to play :P.

I have been playing it and I have to say (not at all happy to say) that I only kind of like it. The team that makes it makes the dynasty warriors type games, and this is nothing at all like that. I was hoping the levels would play out where you would have different characters all over big maps and need to help them out/switch up, but so far the game is just like a standard ARPG going room to room killing things with little separate rooms and chunks of yen/exp.

It is still fun, just not what I was hoping for.

I read that it was co-developed with the Atlus team. It's funny though, I never really liked the whole big map thing actually lol. I've only played the first couple of battles, but so far it's pretty cool. I like that it does feel like a Persona game in the presentation.

Well, I have a Switch, but pretty burned out on Monster Hunter.

Rise looks like a much worse looking Monster Hunter World with some extra moves that I don't really care about. Last time they did extra moves (Monster Hunter Generations) I disliked it. Looks to be the fastest and most mobile Monster Hunter made, but meh. Not enough to get me excited. Same weapons, mostly the same monsters. After 1000s hours of Monster Hunting, there comes a point when I don't look forward to the next game anymore.
