What kind of game do you think Halo Infinite would be?

Open world?

Many RPG elements?

Companion systems roughly similar to Sony games?

Multiple dialogue choices and endings?

Large maps, kinda like battle arena mechanics for an mp mode?

Reboot/Remake?

More of the same i think but I hope it ends up being like god of war same franchise but a complete different game

dude 343 studios can't make a modern shooter like destiny or borderlands 3 its gonna be the same halo crap as halo 5 just with only master chief only this time

I think it needs to focus on an Epic Si-fi single player experience, give me a big open halo world to roam around on (Make it like a Far Cry Game where I can navigate an entire Halo Ring and do whatever I want)

Then add in some Unreal Tournament; Arena type Multiplayer action. Get back to its roots.

They'll stick to FPS in the broader sense, and probably expand battlefields and work on the story. I don't think it'll be some huge change from the series up until now, but probably 343 really trying to refine what they can do, and not f*ck up like 5's SP.

Do you think they'll throw in light rpg elements like they have since late last gen like Crysis 2 farming to upgrade suit and loadout or in other games, upgrading weapons and skills for sp.

No man they won't do any of that, this isn't bungie, this is 343 they don't have the talent to innovate new RPG elements. Imagine getting suit upgrades an stuff like megaman x back in the 90's **** 343 they can't do shit.

I'd say it's doubtful, but definitely not impossible. I think GS posted an article about a potential grappling hook based off the boxart release, so we could see more verticality, but the hook is already being overdone in games.

Bro the grappling hook was already in advanced warfare campaign you used a bunch of missions no dude this is not new at all or fresh at all grappling hooks are old now an irrelevant.

I'm thinking grappling hooks etc to make movement quicker. I'm also thinking a battle royal mode may be on the way.

This is the main reason i am excited for tomorrow's show. I think they'll go with much more open zones so you could explore places and approach objectives from many different angles on the map. That would be damn awesome if done right.

Spencebox has talked about how the game is going to be about exploring a single Halo ring, whatever that might mean, and also said something cryptic about the structure of the game.

Combining that with the "spiritual reboot" business, and tomorrow's going to be interesting, for better or worse.

I've been pretty vocal about how little faith I have in 343 right now, however, I've heard a few things through friends of 343 employees (which should be treated very skeptically), and they're talking a pretty big game right now. They seem quite confident in what they're making.

There's also been talk that 343 has a thick fog hanging over the studio that MS is going to make big changes if Infinite doesn't please the fan base.

Either way.... We'll know in about 16 hours.

Honestly I don’t even think I could hazard a guess as to what I think it might be. However I do have faith in 343 to deliver the goods with it either way and am very hyped to see it unveiled tomorrow. 😁

It will be a surprise MMO which takes elements of halo and freelancer, getting to market well before star citizen and thus eating Chris Roberts' lunch.

I just hope the MP goes back to the heaviness feeling from halo 2 and 3. I dont want a bunch of classes and abilities, really hope there isnt sprint. Stick to the basics and refine.

This is also releasing to PC on the same day right? This might be their biggest last minute comback this gen.

@jeezers: they should keep sprint or make the walking speed faster and get rid of loadouts from like halo 4

Don't know, and frankly don't care. 343 just isn't a good studio. I don't like any of their games, and highly doubt I'll like this one.

I think it will feel more open than previous halo games maybe in a similar way to gears 5.

I think of as a mixed genre, games like Borderlands, Rage, Stalker...but most famous is Far Cry.
