What is your favorite obscure game?

Just something weird that didn't get mainstream success or real consumer appeal but you have a strong attachment to.

Seaman would be mine, this game would actually be a perfect application for the Kinect... Hmmmm

Deadly Premonition. Hands down.

Seiken Densetsu III(aka Secret of Mana 2). Never made it out of Japan with an official english translation

I have way too many of those: Alien Soldier, Battle Mania Daiginjou, Gley Lancer, Galactic Attack, Rodea, Crusader of Centy, Pulseman, Ranger X, Guardian Heroes, Steel Empire, etc. Heck, if we're talking true mainstream recognition, I could probably even count games like MUSHA, NiGHTS, Herzog Zwei, Ristar, Virtual On, Rocket Knight, all of the Panzer Dragoon, Thunder Force, and Raiden games, anything from Cave, etc.

It was certainly one of the best AVGN episodes.

Right now it's Gang Beasts and Mount Your Friends.

Both are super fun 4 player local play.

I think Zero Escape is obscure enough for this, so thats my choice

I suppose mine would be Tactics Ogre: The Knights of Lodis for GBA. I sunk so many hours into that game.

Tecmo Deception. 1 to 4 or 5 include trapt!

Recently: Verdun. best MP shooter of 2015 imo
