What is the next exclusive Playstation will lose to PC part II

Guessing ghost, seems like a good fit for the Pc platform!

Man, I'm still scrambling after having my Round 3 of odds board being suddenly lifted and thrown. In the middle of my bedtime, too. It's going to take some time for me to put together my Round 4 odds.

Still, I already know I'm going to put Bloodborne in first place at around 40-45% yet again. It's a money printing licence Sony can't be leaving on the table forever. It just makes too much sense.

But yah know what? I think I'm starting to sus out Sony's formula, which is why TLOU1 will most certainly get a strong bump - while Ghost of Tsushima will have modest RBR odds (but strong Overall).

I could be wrong yet again, but that's the fun part for me. Fun is the whole point of my odds board.

@Juub1990: As with XBox, I don't think Playstation consoles are in direct competition with a PC. I think it's smart that Sony is porting their games there.

Not sure which is next but don't be surprise if all of them make it to PC.

Hopefully Bloodborne. Would love to play it. Just not enough to tolerate sub 30 fps with massive drops.

Demon's Souls since it was already listed for PC by Sony before it was taken down....kind of like the Uncharted leak.

That said, I can definitely see Ghosts of Tsushima coming to PC fairly soon

Elden Ring releases in February so neither Bloodborne or Demon's Souls as two From Software games releasing near each other would be direct computation and cannabises sales of both game. the earliest I see Bloodborne or Demon's Souls on pc is holiday 2022 or early 2023.

I'd like to see The Last Guardian or the Shadow of the Colossus Remake, but I'm probably out of luck on those.

This thread has forced my hand, so I've been spending the last half an hour cobbling together my Round 4 odds. Because it's such a rush job, I might have to adjust this in the coming days. Here they are:

Round 4: Bloodborne 40% / TLOU1 25% / Returnal 10% / Ghost of Tsushima 10% / Demon's Souls 10% / Infamous Second Son + First Light 5% / all others <1%

Like I said, TLOU1 got a boost due to GoW. GoT's Overall odds is strong (60%), but I felt Sony aren't quite done with that game on the PS just yet. Upping Demon's Souls slightly with time, as it has the highest Overall odds (85%) on the board.

New entry this round: Infamous, most likely Second Son + First Light combo pack similar to Uncharted. I completely forgot about those games, and I think Sony may have too. Still, possible throwaway port. Difficult to pin my odds on this one, so I went conservative with it.

Update: f*** it, I'm done hedging with shit like "an Infamous game." Gonna call it specifically.

Does it matter? I don't buy Playstation games not because they're not on PC, but because they're garbage. I wouldn't play them even if they were on PC.

If people are buying PC's instead of PS5's and downloading games on Steam vs PSN then they are very much in competition with the PC.

If Sony is going to keep at putting games on PC, is it too much to want some kind of equivalent to Microsoft's UWP where people can say pay once on have access to titles across both devices?

Bloodborne / Demon's Souls Remake would be logical. The rest of the pseudo-series is on PC, and they can roll off the hype made by Elden Ring's release in Q1 2022.

PC gamers really aren’t missing much. You probably already got the only games really worth your time. Maybe Ghost will be worth it

Bloodborne is the most requested game (and to me the best) and we still haven't got it, nor is there any sign it is coming.

Stop begging for games exclusive to my system. I didn't buy the system for you to play said games with better visuals, fps and resolution. Please go back hyping Star Citizen.

We're speculating, not begging. At this point, the next port drop is inevitable, and has been since August last year.

We're just trying to guess which one is going to drop next.

I’m sure those will all make their way to PC but as for which one might be next I’m going to say Returnal. Not really sure why but it’s just a gut instinct.

Me too. I actually had that at 25% back in Round 1 (won by Days Gone), because I thought a quirky indie-style game would be a perfect second toe dip.

Sadly, I feel Sony have forgot about that in all the PlayStation Japan reshuffle.

The money is in the cut they get off all third party games sold for their platform. They won't receive that if people stop investing in Playstation and if they no longer have exclusives what's the point?

Most people who play games do not choose between PC and Console. PCs are not in direct competition with consoles.

It's probably probable most will start making their way, especially following commercial successes of other PC titles.

They make it on all software sales. The PS platform makes money off all 3rd party game sales.

Most people do not game on PS5/PC/Xbox they pick one and go with it. If the PS brand loses its exclusives they will be irrelevant. They can get away releasing games three years later but even then I wouldn't be surprised if it cost them sales in the long run.

Unroll your eyes, because its the truth. They were pretending for decades, and now that they're getting GOTY tier master class Sony exclusives, they're so happy, and even demand to for more. I am expecting GoW2018 from being "a boring walking simulator" to become an amazing game, all thanks for the game to be available on the beggars system.
