What is the best system for hardcore and casuals? Xbox 360 or PS3.

Between those two systems what is the better system for casual and hardcore gamers. Xbox 360 or PS3.

The ps3 is the better system for pretty much any type of gamer, unless they hate buttons. I'm not sure a button-hater would be referred ot as a gamer though.

Gears is more Hardcore than anything on PS3's exclusive list and Kinect has really grabbed the casual crowds attention.

I would say the 360 since you're talking about both groups, but the PS3 is pretty strong in the hardcore department.

Not really, 360 has by miles the best and most RPGs and shooters and soon action games too

PS3 isn't very strong in the casual department. 360 isn't very strong in the hardcore department (any more). Seeing as so many titles are multiplatform though if you wanted casual and hardcore get a 360 with a Kinect. You'll get the multiplats that are hardcore with all the Kinect casual stuff.
