@sakaixx: Thanks. If you want to get Ishin, play-asia still has copies, and there are both written and youtube guides available to help with the translation. It's totally worth it since Ishin is just as good as Y0, imo.

Bloodborne or God of War. GoW feels like a game with more effort being put into it, tho.

@adsparky: It's alright. I need to spend more time with it, but as a Virtual On fan, I think it's pretty fun.

It has a SP campaign too, but it's based on a crossover with an anime called "A Certain Magical Index," which I've never seen, and since everything is in Japanese, I have no idea what they're saying, lol. As you can tell, that's who all these pilots are since traditional Virtual On is just about the virtuaroids themselves.

Until Dawn. Bloodborne is good but the performance is shite. Wonder if Sony will do what Xbox one X BC games did and enhance our for PS5, maybe then I'll finish it.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

The Last of Us 2 and it isn't even close.

God of War. It's also probably the best overall game of this generation.

I know is no longer an exclusive, but Horizon Zero Dawn is still my favorite. Also why is Spiderman not on the list ? it was a very well received game.

I'm gonna have to go P5R, as it was genuinely brilliant even though it isn't everyone's cup of tea. I would havce gone Bloodborne, but the damn frame-timing was so shite, that I can't even go back for a another playthrough.

God of War or Bloodborne, both amazing games.

GOW or Spiderman imo, closely followed by P5, even though that dragged on a bit in the end!

Spidey scored lower than 90 in Metacritic aggregate scoring but you can still vote for it in "other"

@lundy86_4: P5R (And P5) is great, probably the best JRPG of the gen but I probably put too much expectation to it as a fan that probably clouded my judgement a bit. Loved the gameplay but the writing is so mediocre, especially compared to previous games.

@Renegade_Fury: Was considering but I did not go forward with it as I don't want to spoil myself reading the walkthrough/playthrough. Too bad I probably won't be able to experience Yakuza Ishin

@sakaixx: Oh, I gotcha. The way I worked around that was when every time I would reach a cutscene, I'd pause the game and line it up with a translated youtube video on an adjacent monitor. That way I never spoiled myself, but it's not the most practical thing to do if you don't have a setup that permits it easily.

I'm actually shocked that is not at least 90 in MC, i thought for all the flaws, it was pretty damn good ... but nah, i'll stick to Horizon and for a pure exclusive, i guess Bloodborne would be the choice.

If not for Bloodborne, I would have felt fine skipping the PS4.

I think it's criminal the way Sony (and From?) have treated Bloodborne.

I have a hard time believing they couldn't fix the frame pacing issues. Or even make it run better on the PS4 Pro.

@Mozelleple112: TLoU part 2 is definitely in my top 3. TLoU part 2 gameplaywise is perfection, but the story doesn't reach the peak of the original.

I probably subconciously did this thread just to talk more about Bloodborne, glad many liked it! Now announce that fking sequel Sony!

@sakaixx: I agree. The original Last of Us is a superior game, but The Last of Us: Part II comes pretty close. Even if I hated Joel's death and playing as Abby.

Persona is easily my favorite.

Although I really live Bloodborne and just the idea of having it without loading time has already sold me a PS5.

Jokes aside, Driveclub was such a visual masterpiece. Still being compared visually to new racing games, this game is nearing it's 6th year anniversary! too bad the game released unfinished, had dev finished the weather updates, maps and fans being patient instead of bitching where is the games early in PS4 days, it easily could get a better reception. The driving experience in driveclub is very arcady fun with lenient late braking in high speed.

Like most of Sony's first party, all flash and no substance. Oh and yeah the update to add weather lol, Sony has a habit of doing that sort of dumb stuff, like releasing updates for games months down the road with new game+ etc in it lol.

I went with God of War just because it has the most installments on Playstation and due to simply subjective fact that E3 showcase of God of War 2018 made me buy PS4 :D

Even though it looks like shit and don't run well on the hardware it was made for: Bloodborne.
