Some of the lastest Nintendo headlines news:

Can Nintendo Keep Making Hardware?
Are 3DS and Vita Really Direct Rivals?
History Says the 3DS is Doomed

I always prefered GAMESPOT as my primary videogames page. but sometimes i read another pages. Is me or the IGN editors are starting to look like a bunch of Nintendo haters. WhenGAMESPOT write a article, they use valid arguments. What you think is the reason? PLEASE READ THE ARTICLES.

This is Gamespot not IGN if you want an answer go to their forums.

And just so you know Operation Rainfall was IGNORED by gamespot, IGN supported it...just saying

Headlines draw attention. The articles themselves are probably fine.

I haven't seen these but the team that specifically does Nintendo related articles on IGN are the only quality editors left on the site in my opinion. Richard George is fantastic and is completely fair and reasonable in all his reviews and articles.. I can't speak for others horrid fanboys on that site who might write a Nintendo related article or something every now and then like Greg Miller and Collin who I'm convinced are sleeping with Sony employees their bias is so bad.

Nintendo lost money last quarter, the WIi is in its twilight phase, their 3Ds had to be dropped in price due to poor sales, and there is almost no concrete info on the Wii U hardware itself.

What do you expect them to say about Nintendo? How much 'potential' they have?

I agree with this. Things aren't looking the best for Nintendo and IGN isn't going to sugarcoat it.

They always spin things negatively when it comes to Nintendo. It's either a neutral/fact type of article or a negative one like a complaint or Nintendo is doomed, but they have never praised something Nintendo did right.

They did a "Why I think Sony won E3" article the day before they announced that Nintendo tied with Sony for the win: "And then there's Nintendo, with a more nebulous future with the 3DS and Wii U that's still full of potential. But if you're a gamer -- and I am indeed a gamer -- it's hard to deny the facts. The games were with Sony this year, and games are what I get most excited about."

The guy running IGN Nintendo sounds pissed off every time I hear him talk. Ratio between positive/negative: "Sure Wii U did some great things" -- Positive, lasts mostly ~1 min, followed by "But the ..... SUCKS" -- ~10 mins of ranting.

I gave Rich a chance but I stopped going to that site for some time now.

IGN has fanboy driven headlines all the time. I'm glad Gamespot kinda stays away from that.

lol, one of the gamespot staffers needs to write one of these inflammatory type articles to generate some hits.

my suggestion for a title is "Will IGN run out of nines?!?!"

LOL, Nintendo never lost money on last quarter. They just don't make as much profits last quarter. Know the differences.

they did lose money.... why do you think the 3DS got a huge price cut and iwata "the president" is slashing his salary by 50%? also you do know when the 3DS price cut goes into effect they will be losing money on ever 3DS they sell right?.... i gotta say nintendo fans act like nintendo cannot do no wrong, their having a bad year, every company does, don't act like their doing great right now.

So it is IGN's fault nintendo has poor 3ds sales and has sucky stock prices. Maybe IGN cut the excec's check's in 1/2 or they made the wii sales bottom out. Yeah ign made the wii u look like crap at the e3 this year. Damn IGn sunk project rainfall also. Who knew IGN had so much power ??

Eh...it's IGN. I left that site years ago, and found home on this one :D. I was pretty shocked when I read my first videogame review on GS, and didn't cringe from the writing :P.

These are the same guys that made the headline "Is Elena pregnant in Uncharted 3?" just because of a comment that she made in a trailer about not wanting to go on an adventure. They always make pointless topics with mental titles to get views.

what do you mean starting to look like nintnedo haters? they have always been like. i seriously think sony pays ign to bash nintendo. they say nothing good about nintendo. it's always bad. maybe once a year they will write something positive but other than that 24/7 nintendo bashing party.

can't spell ignorance without IGN.

It's Nintendo

Top selling console of this generation, top selling handheld of the previous generation. Rough start? So what? $160 Price tag combined with Holiday season and people are sitting and whining over how Nintendo is going to go the way of Sega and how the 3DS will fail. One year from now the people doing this will be laughed at.
