What genre would you like Sony to attempt again (publish or develop)?

Sony is the undisputed king of third person emo cinematic action adventure games. Anyone who says otherwise clearly isn't a fan of third person emo cinematic action adventure games. But before that time, in the old days, Sony used to try other things. They had some FPS games, they attempted RPGs believe it or not, they were also one of the pioneers of online shooters. Also developed games in the vehicular combat genre, rhythm, level creators, and more. I think I would like to see Sony attempt an RPG again. There's Legend of Dragoon and Folklore. How about you, SW? What genre would you like Sony to attempt again (publish or develop)?

Anything besides the generic third person cinematic experience. I lost interest in Sony games because they all feel formulaic.

A multiplayer shooter that isn't yet another shitty killzone or a game full of mtx. Bring Socom ffs.

A proper Sci Fi RPG.

Sony's games usually excel at narrative, characters and animation. I would love to see them try their hand at a true role playing game.

Anything that isn’t the usual 3rd person action adventure. A decent fps would be a start, maybe a RTS?

More stuff like Puppeteer. Also, sports outside of baseball! Loved me some Gameday back in the day.

This will get flack, but their dancing game Everybody Dance was way better than its counterparts, maybe they'll revisit that some day.

JRPG. Legend of Dragoon 2 please.

Twisted Metal and some actual RPG's.

They could definitely do with some variety alright.

Hopefully they fire some studios back up in Japan. Sure Playstation is not the powerhouse it once was in Japan but a lot of Japanese made games still sell very well around the world.

An answer to Xenoblade and Elder scrolls on the RPG side would be good (oh a xenoblade like with sony money could be sweet).

Astro needs his own game now at this stage.

Take another crack at wipeout for the new PSVR as a launch title. that could be very cool.

Wouldn't mind seeing another Syphon Filter, loved the PSP games.

Make a classic style God of War. The new one is boring trash.

Motorstorm. A collection of the ps3 ones that has Vr support would be awesome.

It seems wierd to me that they never did anything with Tenchu or Syphon Filter.

3rd person action adventure. I found the PS4 lacking in that genre :P
