Callisto Protocol. I was going to grab it on Series X at launch despite issues with gameplay people had, but then before I pulled the trigger I saw how Krapton severely neglected Xbox development. Even now after numerous patches the game doesn't have stable performance and the RT patch only seemed to offer a blurry slapdash fix and I've heard no word whether that's been updated.
So, that, coupled with the 4 month wait since launch, and the fact they've done diddly-squat to bring digital prices down, not when Dead Space Remake was killing it weeks back, and not now when Resident Evil 4 Remake is preparing to kill it launching at MetaCritic perfection, they still want $70 for that shit. Fuuuck that!
They likely over-printed and have countless copies in circulation that won't sell, that's typically why digital prices refuse to budge for some games. And considering they air-balled their 5 million launch sales target by a few million, that likely explains it.
So no price drop, I'm not buying. Plus they are releasing DLC. I'll wait for the all content edition to be bundle discounted for $10-20, or for it to come to Game Pass or PS Plus, and since they had a Sony marketing deal, that won't happen until at least 1 year from launch, as that seems rubberstamped in all their marketing deals. So, whatever comes first. I got plenty to keep me busy until then, that Dead Space Remake scratched an itch that no longer needs scratching too. I can wait.
Anyhow, got Homefront 2 on sale for $3.99, I heard it was bad, seeing if years of patches and an X|S update fixes that. And if not... it was only $3.99, no major loss.
