@xantufrog: I think it was last October, so a little less than half a year ago. They used to have a two week time frame to get on the deal, but like a lot of things with amazon these days, they've gotten worse.

None. I rarely buy new games even months after launch these days. Few of them appeal to me.

I don't ever preorder. It used to be fun when I was younger because you'd actually get shit that made it worth it. I wish I would've been able to get a Persona 5 Take Your Heart Edition but I couldn't. I want to preorder Ni No Kuni: The Revenant Kingdom and God of War but in all honesty there's no point imo

I don't pre-order because I'm not a mark for game companies whose only ideas about being profitable involve locking customers into buying their products before they're even complete much less before I can tell whether or not they'll actually be good by offering me useless collectible trinkets. Also, Steam sales, FTW.

None right now. I usually only preorder things like collectors editions of games myself. There are several games that I wouldn’t mind preordering if they get some kind of nice collectors edition package like:

- Red Dead Redemption 2

- Anthem

- Halo 6

- Forza Horizon 4

- Kingdom Hearts 3

None, nada and zilch, unless being a Star Citizen backer counts

Kirby Star Allies (Picked it up today)

Nintendo Labo

That's it...because shrug. I'll probably preorder God of War and South Park Switch in a week or so.

It's 2018. No need to pre-order digital games as there are no 'stock levels' to miss out on.

Going to pre-order State of Decay 2 probably next week and Halo 6 when it's announced.

@BassMan said:

If you want more broken and half-ass games, by all means go ahead and pre-order. Otherwise show some restraint and make the developers earn your money by releasing finished and quality games.

What's the difference? You can have people buy a game when it launches or shortly thereafter and still be disappointed with a game. Preordering is for people who have faith in the product or have some incentive to preorder. Also, for those people who prefer to wait for price reductions, you are potentially harming good developers as well. That's why companies now give all these incentives to buy at launch.

I buy into Early Access games quite often to help fund the creation of games that interests me but I dont pre-order games from "AAA" publishers any more.

I swore I'd never pre-order again after Halo 5 but Far Cry 5 Gold Edition looks really good with the season pass DLC so I've gone for that.

None.

I don't even remember the last time I pre-ordered a game. Probably something that gave a bonus or something, but otherwise there is absolutely no point. Even most pre-order bonuses are pointless.
