What game would you like to see converted to VR?

Hello. Quite a few games have been converted to VR, be it through official means, such as Skyrim, DOOM, Superhot etc.. as well as unofficial means through modding, Quake 1/2/3, Alien Isolation, Halflife, Unreal, Honey Select to name but a few.

But what games, currently unconverted would you really love to experience in VR?

Halo CE in VR would be the greatest thing ever. Just imagine the Library level in VR... Also imagine being able to pull plasma grenades off your body and throw them back. Would be so cool

Literally every single flight sim. Space, regular, sci-fi, arcade, realistic....whatever.

DCS World and Elite: Dangerous alone make VR a worthwhile investment for me, but then you factor in other games like Everspace, House of the Dying Sun, and even the freebie blade-runner-esque Aircar title and it is great.

Would like to see Sniper Elite converted to VR; I think it would be fun to post up on your desk or couch or whatever in prone position and snipe hahaha. Maybe they even make a prop rifle you can use like in some games :D

I think a lot of cover games would work well, frankly. I would love to see the Mass Effect series a.) turned into first-person and b.) converted to VR. I think it would work really well given current VR's "mobility" issues (i.e. the whole hold down a button to teleport to a spot deal), and casting biotics and tech skills with gestures along with traditional shooting would work very well.

Finally I would like to see an MMO like WoW, SWTOR, ESO, and Guild Wars 2 made into VR. Not sure how it would work out, but there's a lot of smart people out there, I am sure they could figure it out.

*Honestly, given the success around No Man's Sky VR, I don't see why any studio could not take their flight sim and make it VR [if they wanted to].

Oh I'd also like to see some "station-based" sims--things like Silent Hunter, or B-17 or other bomber sims, made into VR. I think looking through a periscope in VR would be dope, as would manning a machine gun turret on a WWII bomber or looking through the bombardier scope.

Star Citizen would benefit using VR, I like to see that in the future and that goes for any Sci-Fi games.

All of them. Any game can be played in VR. Would love Prey, Portal or Tony Hawk with the old PS2 skateboard controller.

Any first person game, and only first person games. Even though I'm not planning to get a VR thing.

EVE Online Bridge Mode

Anything with a cockpit.

Wouldn't you rather have normal thps... A good one, like thsp 3 or 4, or underground? One with a normal controller? Why VR...i just dont get it

I get that you don't get VR, but to me it adds a huge layer of immersion. So a Thps game in VR with a skateboard controller is as close as I could get to real thing, same thing goes with any other type of game.

Most space sims would work pretty well.

Just about every single first person game. Far Cry in particular would be nice, Dying Light + Mirror's Edge too.

Pretty much every racing game as well.

No reason why 3rd person games can't work either. Astrobot was amazing - would not mind seeing Ratchet and Clank make the jump. I doubt a new traditional Ratchet game would do anything interesting so might as well create it with VR in mind.

None, I don't like lame gimmicks.

That game is perfect for VR. Not to fast, great visual, great details, and a hugh open world to explore.

For Honor would be a good one.

Great topic!! I've have played alot of old games in VR using Vorpx but it's far from perfect but here are the games that I would convert.

• Mirror's Edge Catalyst
• Sleeping Dogs with a FPS mode of course
• Prey 2006 this actually kinda of works with Vorpx but one of updates screwed it up but I'm telling you everybody should play Prey 2006 in VR it looks amazing!!!
• All of the Max Payne games in FPS mode
• Far Cry 3 and 5
• Battlefield 2
• All of the GTA games
• Remember me with a FPS mode

Here is a old video of a guy playing Prey in Vorpx on the Oculus dev kit you can see how impressed he is it's amazing when it worked.
