Breath of the Wild. Half the complaints this forum tries to present against that game suck. Not surprising, this forum does actively hate gameplay.
What kind of complaints have you seen that you don't agree with?
>the old items were better
NO the **** they weren't. They gave a dungeon an identity and a specific gameplay loop, sure, but they were atrocious outside of their own dungeon. Because they were keys to a lock. The Sheikah apps actually have multiple uses in combat, in the environment, and in the puzzle solving. You can't say the same about shit like the dumb stupid ass spiny top shit in Twilight Princess for instance.
>The dungeons are bad because they look the same
That is a problem, but it's ignoring that the dungeons are less rigid, less linear, and all around between the dungeons n shrines Breath of the Wild flat out has more interesting puzzles, especially because of how many solutions it has in comparison to older 3d zeldas. Tallest midget shit? Yeah, because 3d zelda puzzles have basically sucked for close to 2 decades, but hey I think Breath of the WIld is genuinely enjoyable as a puzzle, and outside of Pelvist, very few people on this forum even play modern day indie puzzle games.
>The weapon depletion
Okay, I think both sides are stupid. It actually isn't a problem, because you get decked out so fast it's basically the weapon durability system in Dark Souls. To say it is this massive flaw in the design, is a bit laughable given how utterly effortless the combat is. "it adds rich resource management" lolwut, no it doesn't. Again you decked out too fast for it to matter. It's only an interesting mechanic in the first quarter of the game and eventide Island, which is fucking excellent.
I think BoTW has plenty of issues: It's combat is shallow, it has too many filler shrines, it's dungeons could be longer, making the bosses thematically similar takes some of the excitement away, and the game needed more interesting enemy variation to its roster, even if the enemies are light years ahead of previous 3d Zeldas. To me it's not even a hard game to pick apart, but this narrative, that as a game, AS A GAME, it is somehow shallower than previous 3d Zelda games is laughable at best. 3d Zelda games were painfully simple, hated the players time, and treated the player as a sap.
Oh and "hur durr it's Ubisoft towers" is completely missing how Ubisoft handles their towers and how Zelda handles their towers. It's devoid of any nuance, which I think is fascinating from the "you people need to be more objective"....but you've objectively put no thought into your complaint you dumbass.
Tis the burden of Champ tho, being right all the time ; (
