Only game I have preordered right now is Persona 5 Strikers. Best Buy is giving away a free steelbook with your purchase. Thanks, Best Buy! Also, Nintendo is offering an incentive for purchasing Super Mario 3D World for Switch. May get in on that 😮 May also lock in on Returnal.

Nothing. And I don't see anything worth pre-ordering coming this year.

And yes, that includes the Mass Effect remasters. I don't know what engine they're going to use for it yet, so there's a strong possibility they're going to use a 64-bit port of UE3. Here are other games that used 64-bit UE3: Arkham Knight, Mortal Kombat X, and XCOM 2. So yeah, I'm going to wait.

I typically don't ever pre-ordered games, not do I pay full price for one. I don't like gambling money toward an untested product. Wait for release, patches, and then grab it on sale. The game's not going anywhere, and like wine, they typically get better with some age added on to it.

Nothing right now but there is a bunch of games coming soon that I’ll be getting right away that will be easy to find in stores. I usually only pre-order if I think the game may be hard to get or there’s a Collector’s Edition of it I want to get.

No games on preorder. I don't see the advantage of paying more for less to be an early adopter unless it is an online game which I rarely ever play.

None. I've only preordered two games ever, and generally think it's a pretty bad practice

Not really. Only thing I can think of is that I backed Eiyuden Chronicle, which is a spiritual successor of Suikoden being developed by former Konami employees, and I'm supposedly get the game in late 2022.

I wish I had enough free time to catch up on my PS4/5 backlog. There's just too much to play these days.

The big nada. Waiting on the final component of my new PC, and my new car should be arriving tomorrow/Thursday... Suffice to say, spending is going a little down for now. Might just pick stuff up on sale, or maybe Hitman 3.

I only like preorder 1 day or hours before if there is like some bonus's ill miss out on and im gonna buy the game anyway but ya I'm with you. No point if you don't get anything extra or like I think megaman x collection you saved some money if you pre ordered like 20% or something.

I only preorder games I know for a fact its the game I'll be playing day one and I have done a proper research on a game before I hit preorder. My last preorder was CP2077 and so far has met my expectation. This year, I see nothing I want to preorder on the horizon. I have no issue of preordering games but I just don't see a damn thing and to be frank, I really should focus on clearing some of my "game collection" I have yet to play and so with that, I'll just do that. So no preorder anything this year.

@ProtossRushX: yeah I mean a big savings or bonus item you really want is obviously a good incentive - and that's what led me to doing it before myself

I have Mass Effect Legendary Edition and Outriders preordered but I don't think there's really a need for me to preorder either. They're both standard editions. I basically did it out of habit.

I always thought it was funny how people are so dead set against pre-ordering games. I have pre-ordered games for years with just $5 down. If the game pans out I keep it and get the pre-order incentives, and if it doesn't then it just carries over on my account to the next game I want to pre-order. I can't remember which game it was now but I actually had enough money on my account at Gamestop to pay for half the price of the game about midway through last gen... lol. Doesn't hurt that they like me there and I probably kept that damn location open, so perhaps they catered to me... but I don't think they did. Either way, pre-orders aren't necessary for games with no incentives but these days 98% of games do. If you were going to get it day one anyways then there really isn't a reason not to.

Everything announced for ps5, only cost me like 80 bucks in pre-orders. I don’t wanna miss any premium gaming.

I preordered Monster Hunter Rise for my son. It's a late xmas gift since it was the only game he wanted.
