What game(s) are you most hyped for, just in general?

Doesn't have to be coming out this year or even have a release date. The two games I'm currently hyped for are Astral Chain and Shenmue 3. Astral Chain is being directed by Takahisa Taura who was game designer for Nier Automata. Hideki Kamiya is also involved (Bayonetta, DMC, Resident Evil). And then there's Shenmue 3. Played the first two games a few months ago and instantly became a fan. So I'm definitely look forward to this sequel and glad I didn't have to wait 15 years lol.

Age of Empires IV, because it's the revival of a classic series

Ghos of Tsushima, I guess the worst way of putting it is a AC clone, but I'm genuinly interested in its setting and style

Iron Harvest, another good RTS game with a really unique setting

These don't have a solid release date though.

Games on the immediate horizon worth giving a shit about is Samurai Spirits and Minoria.

Honestly not much.

I look forward to the next Elder Scrolls game, but that is probably still many years away.

The possible Game of Thrones game that From Software might be working on has me excited, but that is still just a rumor.

The only confirmed games that will be releasing in the near future that I'm looking forward to is the Crash Team Racing remake, Team Sonic Racing, and Super Mario Maker 2.

definitely looking forward to Shenmue 3 too but not very hype. it will be just one and done game. Halo infinite is wait and see. looking to see if its PC focus game they said or not.

Not much, sadly. I'm mildly hyped about DOOM Eternal, Zelda remake and Hollow Knight 2. A STALKER 2 sounds sweet but it's probably years away. My hype for Elder Scrolls VI depends on if they use the same poopy engine or not.

Honestly I'm pretty full up for a long time with great games. That being said, I am looking forward to AoE4, Iron Harvest, Age of Wonders, Cyberpunk, and Zelda Link's Awakening

Even though I really liked TLOU there's something about this new one that puts me off. That lesbian scene felt forced and a clear political statement rather than proper story development on the characters. The lesbian scene in left behind was properly done, the footage at E3 was not. It was clearly an "in your face" statement, something I really despise. If this is the path Naughty Dog wants to go then dont count me in. I'll probably still play it somewhere down the line though

Shenmue 3 is really the only one I have any hype for.

Hype is for suckas.

@SolidGame_basic: It was announced a while ago, including the unveiling of the new protagonist, but we haven't seen any gameplay footage yet. In Yakuza Online, there are actually a lot of story tidbits related to the new game as well, but I'm trying to avoid most of those spoilers.

Ghost of Hashirama and Cyberflunk. Halo Infertile also seems like it could be successfull with it's new graphics engine. All these three games would do much better as Next gen exclusives though.

@Renegade_Fury: I hope they do remasters for 3-5. I want to play the series in order lol

@SolidGame_basic: Oh, then I have some good news for you, lol. They announced it last year that they were remastering them for the PS4, and it's presumed that they'll be localized. Right now, 3 and 4 are out in Japan, but I think the western branch is waiting for the 5 remaster to release so that they can put all three in a collection for us.

None I don't hype, what's the point of getting hyped for something that can be years away?

I just play what's out and leave the rest be.

Streets of rage 4 definitely looks great I hope they keep it like the original 3 games.

New Yakuza game.

SP focused tactical shooters are some of my favorite games out there, but the enemy AI needs to be really good or else the whole game falls apart. I wouldn't get your hopes up until that's proven to be on point.
