I felt like making a thread so here's a thread.
Here's my answer:

Dust: An Elysian Tale
Bastion
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time
Trine
Trine 2
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams
Just a few I can think of.
Art? I don't have a good notion of what constitutes art. But, my favorite here. I also love aviation art. That makes art in architecture and aviation. I may add more as I see fit. Add Far Cry 3.
In terms of art design, the games that impressed me the most last gen are actually Wii games, in HD, on Dolphin...
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Muramasa: The Demon Blade
Dammmmmmmmnnnn Skyward Sword looks amazing on Dolphin. I will unfortunately be playing it in standard def on Wii U. :(
If I was made of money, I would get a better PC, but at this point that would just mean less games for me to buy. :/
Dark Souls, Hotline Miami, The Witcher 2, BioShock Infinite, and Assassin's Creed II are my favorites.
And, for what it is, Modern Warfare 2 had some pretty excellent art design. People deride most recent shooters as being all grey and brown, and for the most part that's true, but MW2 did a lot to subvert that. Take a look at the oil rig level or the airplane scrapyard for instance - those are pretty damn striking as far as military shooters go.
My big 5:
Sonic Generations
Vanquish
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron
Super Mario Galaxy 2
@Renegade_Fury: And none of your images are showing. At least not for me.
They're showing fine for me. I even switched browsers just to make sure.

Sucks that the Wii U can't upscale the native resolution of Wii games... Yet another bad decision from Nintendo.
But these days, building a PC which can run Dolphin at that quality probably won't cost more than a Wii U.
I'd have to say some of the top game for me are
-Donkey Kong Country Returns
-Skyward Sword
-Darksiders
-Ratchet and Clank a Crack in Time
-Rayman Legends
@Jag85: maybe but I already have a Wii U. I do use dolphin for gamecube games. I can run Wind Water at 2x resolution and modest AA. I just don't know if that'd be enough for Wii games

Yeah not sure what was going on when I typed that, but I can see them now.
@Jag85: I dunno how it looked on Dolphin, but on Wii everything that was more than 15 feet away was one big blur. I could certainly appreciate what they were going for, it just looked fugly.
Hmm,
Borderlands 2:
Mirror's Edge:
Patapon 2:
I certainly agree with Patapon and Mirror's Edge. I would say, same with Mirror's Edge, that Brothers: a tale of two sons had an amazing art style. Everything looked good & clean. They were also both on UE 3.
Skyward Sword is a gorgeous game.
Artistically? Sure but it looks fucking disgusting with the Wii hooked up to any decent sized HDTV.

Wii U HDMI upscaling helps a lot.

In that case, just give it a try. Just put in the Skyward Sword disc and see how it runs in Dolphin. And if it runs a bit slow, then you could just lower the AA and increase the native resolution.

I have a Wii, but don't play on it anymore, now that I can just play them on Dolphin with better graphics. The only use I have for the Wii is that sensor bar, for which I need to turn on the Wii for it to work.
