What game are you most looking to next, by platform?

PS5: Returnal and Ratchet & Clank are coming out soon, and while I think these will be good games, I would say the most exciting game I'm looking forward to is either Horizon 2 or GoW 2, whatever comes first. These are highly anticipated titles and are flagship titles for Sony, so I have BIG expectations!

Switch: The answer for me will always be Bayonetta 3 until it comes out lol, but for the time being, Skyward Sword HD is probably the next Switch game I'm looking forward to. You can throw in Ninja Gaiden, but that's just a nice dessert. I also think the new Pokemon looks interesting, but that's still a ways to come.

Xbox: I don't own an Xbox, but I do have a PC that can play Xbox games lol. So what next Xbox game am I looking forward to? I guess there's Halo Infinite, which has been underwhelming to be honest. It's also a bit strange that they delayed it until next holiday, but haven't really spoken much about it. So my real answer is Forza Horizon 5 lol.

PC: PC, I love ya, but honestly, consoles have caught up. There aren't any big marquee games that I really, truly need a PC for. But shit, I'll always have a PC, I would feel naked without having one. So what PC game am I looking forward to? Not really sure.. maybe I'll give Diablo 4 a try? Or just play that on Switch 😎

The ps5 exclusive i am the most excited for is GoW2, but its guaranteed to be a 2022 title. I would love it if ND announced a TLOU2 expansion for Summer, tho. On pc i'll get RE8 as the earliest game i am guaranteed to purchase. If Outriders, that laggy mess of a video game receives a bunch of praise for the most important part of a loot game (endgame) i might get it because i am desperate to play something new.

Welp, that's the second SolidGame_Basic thread I guessed right from the title alone.

Obviously, Evil Genius 2. The first game was one of the better Dungeon Keeper clones. Also, one of my deepest personal fantasies is to take over the world, and I secretly cheer for the villains when watching James Bond films. I enjoyed that chair scene in Casino Royale.

Further afield, Subnautica: Below Zero. The first game was one of the few survival games that got it right, so it's sure to be ace. Then it's probably Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, just because I like the franchise. Finally, at the top of my list is of course Total War: Warhammer III. Kislev.

All of which, of course, are on PC. That said, I suppose I'm also looking to see how Horizon Forbidden West turns out, and see if they will address some lingering concerns I still have about it. Besides, I currently have HFW at 70% probability to eventually to come to PC on my "Sony Games on PC" odds board, so it's not like there isn't a high probability I'll get to play it anyway.

On the horizon, be picking up BG3 when out of EA.

PC: Deathloop, STALKER 2, Shadow warrior 3, Village.

Some of these games are out but i just havent picked them up yet.

PC: Doom eternal, cyberpunk, star wars squadrons in VR, Warhammer 3 total war, baldurs gate 3 (must go back and play the first 2.....maybe i will when i am done with Ys8.)..thats off the top of my head. i would be here quite a while if i went digging. i'm kinda holding off on buying new PC games at the moment (especially VR games and demanding games) as i want to wait until i get a new PC. but that will take a while by the looks of things.

Switch: Monolithsofts next title. XC2 was a big let down but i'm really hoping they are back on form again for their next game. Also BOTW2 and MP4. i hope they experiment more with the chemistry engine and the physics and maybe have more of a world building element to BOTW2. Hopefully MP4 also stand tall beside the other 3 greats.

PS5: I dont have one yet (probably won get one until 2022 now with the GT7 delay) but i have a lot of PS4 games to play on that too. Spiderman, Gravity rush 2, Shadow of the colossus, God of war, Horizon Forbidden west (have zero dawn on the PC) and GT7 of course (hopefully with VR support).

Definitely BOTW2 if it releases for switch. I might buy a Switch from cash converters just to play it. I'm anticipating an Arma 4 announcement most of all but also excited for System Shock and also the System Shock 2 remaster in VR. I also look forward to playing the full version of Below Zero when its released from EA and I am quelling my excitement for Stalker 2 as I cant help but worry it will turn into Metro clone for consoles, so iv lowered my expectations for that and try not to think about it too much. I like Metro but nowhere near as much as I like all three S.T.A.L.K.E.R games, including Clear Sky.

Looking forward to the most? For the Switch probably Breath of the Wild 2 but am also very hyped for Monster Hunter Rise, Bayonetta, and Metroid Prime 4.

For Xbox it’s probably Halo: Infinite. Also very hyped for Resident Evil Village, Forza Horizon 5, Forza Motorsport 8, Diablo IV, and Starfield.

For PS5 I’d say that it’s Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Also really looking forward to Horizon Zero Dawn 2, and God of War: Ragnarok.

I feel I'm in a bit of a weird spot for gaming. I'm finishing up my Sega Game Gear collection this month with buying an Everdrive X7 for it. I'm not overly excited about anything coming this year... at least nothing new.

For PS5 I'm most anticipating Oddworld which is free to Plus members next month, Outriders which will wait for a price drop, and Mass Effect Legendary Edition. I'm also interested in Aliens Fireteam now... maybe Back 4 Blood as well.

As for the future of PS5 (2022 and beyond), I'm really excited for Instinction, Horizon 2, God of War and the possibilities that the new gen with future announcements will bring.

Only Zelda BotW 2 has my interest for Nintendo.

Totally forgot about Guilty Gear Strive and The King of Fighters XV. ArcSystem Works has been doing amazing stuff and GGS looks phenomenal. Really looking forward to playing that on the PS5.

KoFXV is looking great as well. Really hoping that this one hits the Xbox platform but if not then that’s another PS5 game for me.

Ragnarok will be superior on PS5 and those other games will all play best on PC. It must suck to be stuck on weakling last gen consoles.

I am looking forward to Darktide, but at same time never made much progress on Vermintide because I couldn't get my friends to play it with me. On Series X with Game Pass.

There are probably better offerings on PS5 but I really wanna play the new Oddworld and I am guessing it won't come to Xbox anytime soon, possibly never.

@SolidGame_basic: it was back in the day. But you can pretty much do the stuff on your phone now, and consoles has kinda catched up this gen.

PS4: Granblue Fantasy: Relink: A game that captivated me since its announcement, sadly several problems have pushed the release again and again so hopefully it end well.

Switch: Monster Hunter Rise: I'm a huge Monster Hunter fan.

PC: Homeworld 3: Since i was very young I always wanted to control a fleet of spaceships and then Homeworld made my wish a reality back in the day, I fell in love with the series, so this is the one i'm waiting the most on PC.
