What franchises would you like to see resurrected next gen?

I would love to see a new Jet Set Radio or Crazy Taxi game. There are also some good games from PS1 era that would be cool to see again, like Parasite Eve. Would also love to see a new Resistance (a more grittier version) or Killzone. A new Sonic adventure would also be great, if they can pull it off. As you can tell, I'm in a Sega state of mind right now lol. How about you, SW? What franchises would you like to see resurrected next gen?

You can, just like I can say that I didnt like it and that it seems like a copy of Doom 2016. You were trying to claim I said Doom Eternal was crap werent you... 🤣 Grow up son.

@bluestars: I had a love/hate towards LA Noire.

I loved playing the game in black and white and I'll say that's the definitive way to play the game if you want that true noir aesthetic, and I love the attention-to-detail to familiar locations.

I hated everything else about the game. Its linearity, its limited detective work. The entire open world is hollow and lifeless until the scripted story makes its tour to such locations. I hated the fact that even if you fucked up an entire case, there's zero consequence for any of it because the game has a single linear outcome it must follow.

I'd welcome an LA Noire resurrection if they actually do it right because there was real potential for a cool detective game but its execution failed miserably.

I played it for around three hours before getting bored of it and it still seemed like an expansion for Doom 2016. That's more than can be said for the amount of time you've spent playing HL: A.

Someone made a game that didn't focus on your desires and you don't like it. You could like it, but right now you'd rather throw your teddy in a corner and call it crap without even playing it.

@dagubot: Legend of Dragoon is a very respectable choice.

Perfect Dark, Ninja Gaiden and Onimusha would be my top picks.

It wasn’t without faults and had plenty of “how the **** did I get that wrong”moments HAH and not much to do in the game world apart from hidden cars and some side cases which either ended in chasing some perp in a car or on foot for intuition points but the makings of a great sequel are there

I would love to see PoP And Splinter Cell come back but have 0 faith in Ubisoft.

Anthem - or a spiritual successor that ditches the herpes that is the looter shooter genre for something more like the Mass Effect games.

I imagine we'll start seeing stuff like the PS1 remakes we got this gen (FF7, Spyro, Crash, Medievil, RE2) but for PS2 era stuff.

Prince of Persia and Bulletstorm comes to mind.
