What FPS franchise you hate most?

This year COD also looks terrible. the "new engine" was made with advanced warfare. same scripted 4 hour QTE fest. and year series most beloved lol. most beloved was COD1 and 2 by old school PC gamers.

COD4 started dumbed down of FPS genre and thus ruined many FPS games last gen.

Definitely Wolfenstien. Talk about cut-scenes ruining a franchise.

Last two BF and anything COD past MW2.

Metro- over hyped, ive tried all 3 and they are all bad borring shooting games, super story driven too but the story is garbage. Hate this series, so borring.

Destiny - Straight garbage, good job ruining your image bungie, what a bad call. Borring games. Horrible unbalanced PVP. Going from Halo to Destiny is like going from steak to cat shit.

Far Cry- borring and reptitive SP fps games with borring crappy stories with half assed gameplay.

Best one is primal, because it tried to do SOMETHING different, unlike the rest

you can turn off flashing on enemies like in Doom 2016.

glory kill is little thing that didnot ruined the exprience. its still better than one button stealth kill because here you have to shoot demons multiple time before perform glory kill.

Yes, you could either turn it completely off, so it gets really hard to see when you can do a glory kill, or have it on and be annoyed by how ugly it is. Nothing in between. Sucks balls.

Seems to be the same for Eternal. Either put up with their flashing bullshit, or turn it off completely and be penalized.

And seriously. That Eternal HUD is one of the worst HUDs I've ever seen in history of videogames. I want it scaled back, I want it to have different shapes, and I definitely don't want it in all the colors of the rainbow. The font they're using looks retarded as well. I have seriously no idea what they were thinking, but the HUD designer needs to be fired ASAP.

I did like Doom 3 more than the arena shooter it has become.

@ghosts4ever: It would be nice if you knew wtf you were talking about. Advanced Warfare used the older Quake engine that's been used from at least CoD4 (possibly earlier). This is a completely new game engine for MW, but again it still has major issues.

CoD4, while maybe not your favorite (and lets be honest your taste is shit), was the start of CoD being a household name, its WAY more popular then any of the previous CoD games.

When Doom 3 transitions to hell it's awesome.

It does raise an interesting question though, and that's if a lot of users here know you're an alt why don't the mods nuke you.

I've heard about this old forum and how heavy handed it was (if you ask tormy he thinks I was around then and this is my new alt lol) I just like to take the piss which is still not obvious for some people.

I know I have a dry sense of humour, I mean look at the thread where I took the piss out of Sony for skipping that gaming event because of the corona virus, people like the normally sound lundy lost their shit, it was fun :)

I can't say that I hate a franchise, but I Bioshock 1 and 2, and Borderlands I couldn't get in to.

sorry if you are discussing my taste in gaming. i dont want 4 hour scripted cinematic crap with noobish MP. i want some deep and immersive FPS or old school FPS games.

even MW2 was far better than COD4 atleast MW2 was michael bay ride, COD4 was just bland shooting gallery.

Call of Duty, becuase it hurt FPS gaming in general, at least on consoles.

i strongly dislike crysis 3, far cry 2, cod black ops 1, wolfenstein new colossus , battlefield 4 and genuinely don't get the love for the first two metro games.

I wouldn't use the word "hate" about PREY, but i have always thought it was rather boring. I don't like puzzles to interfere with my shooting up dem baddies, and Prey has plenty of annoying puzzles. Great intro though, shame the rest if the game can't keep up.

I don't think I dislike or "hate" any game franchise to be honest. FPS included. It mainly comes down to the fan-bases that I personally can't put up with. CoD and Fortnite being a couple. I can still play and enjoy the games though.
