iam not talking abut graphics and processing power. I tam talking about if you were to drop your console on the flor which one will take the most damage before breaking, also which console will be working for years to come.

despite being small i think the wii is duriable. last gen they tested the gc x-box and ps2 and the gc was the most duriable. Nintendo probley made the wii duriable too. also i believe i will be able to turnon my wii 10 years later and it will still work great. i know its impossiable to tell now

Generally, the more advanced the hardware and software, the more unreliable it becomes. Since the Wii uses the most basic tech out of all of them, it would appear to be more reliable.

Nintendo > all.

1 Snes, 1 N64, 2 GC's, 2 Wii's!

4 x PS1s. 3x PS2's.

My Gamecube broke due to my nephew having a Wizz and reason why my Wii broke was due to me accidently dropping it onto a concrete floor. My PS1's just died constantly and also my PS2's from over usage.

Lol at the 4 people who voted 360 XD, it doesn't sound reliable for one thing, there's nothing that worries me in something more than freaky/loud noises coming from it, that's the one thing I hate about my PSP, freaking scary disk loading noises.

Aw, tough break. Mine's still chugging along. This gen, it's probably the Wii, but I don't think any of them can handle much trauma.

I'm a Nintendo fanboy and I disagree completely. My Wii already broke and I didn't abuse it at all.

Compare the two:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdVYnn1CTVs&eurl=http://www.qh2.com/video.php?id=2951

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CTy7Nx0oPI&feature=related

While they both broke easily, the Wii crumbled apart much quicker.

Isn't Wii's defect rate in the commom range of 3% and the PS3's 0.2%?

From what i remember, those are the numbers, and the PS3 wins as the most reliable one. That's something to consider, having that it manages to be that reliable with so many new techs inside it.

Probably the Wii, ive never really heard much of them failing. Only thing i dont like about the Wii is how thin the motion sensor wire is. It always scared me, i thought i would snap it.

I can't believe that there are people voting for the 360.

It's not only the historically worst console reliability-wise , but also one of the less reliable electronics products ever released. How can anyone vote for that?

Nintendo. With the exception of the NES, which had some problems, Nintendo has always made reliable products. I once lost my GB Colour in the snow, and we didn't find it again untill summer:
When we ran over it with a lawn mower. The only problem was the screen had one little chip in it, but it worked perfectly fine.

You can't judge an entire product based on one experience. Every product has it's odd lemon here and there.

PS3, my Wii and multiple other people I know have had that stupid disc read error problem. At least it's not fatal to the console and easy to fix, but my PS3 has had no problems at all. Neither has my 360, but it's loud and has scratched up my Halo 3 disc.

I'll take the PS3. If I drop that thing on the floor, it would only scratch like 4 of my games.

Another reason why PS3>>>Wii60

PS3=Wii>360. There have been some Wii's that have broken down though I haven't experienced any failure from any current gen system yet.

so why don't highend pc break or fast laptops that have more power than consoles in 1/4 the space of x360?

SNES, PS3 and Xbox 1 appear to be good in terms of reliability.
