I'm not sure I've even bought five Japanese based games this gen.

I've played a lot more Japanese games than that though, and there's a chance that some released later this year like VC4 will crack my top 5.

I don't care for Yakuza but my list would be the same and I'd put Mario Odyssey in that slot.

Haven't really played many Japanese games (that I can think of) this gen... besides a bit of Mario Odyssey. Nier Automata will be my first proper purchase next week. Looking forward to it!
