If the series x runs this at 30 fps minimum/4k I was wondering what your predictions are for the Ps5 ?

Where are all the people that attacked me for saying games won't be 60FPS on XSX/PS5?...
You clowns, I swear same story every generation.
The SSD's and Zen 2 core's don't mean a thing at 4K... Its a GPU bottleneck! You guys are excited by having GPU's that can't even compete with a 2080 S and 2080 Ti which are literally about to be replaced by cards 40-50% better.
Main reason I just can't deal with consoles, seriously 30FPS in 2020... You think I spend thousands on a OLED TV and Speaker setup to play games at 30FPS in 2020?
Enjoy guys, the worst is yet to come... 20FPS dips in heavy raytraced games!
The PS5 version will be 30FPS also but it will be checkerboard 4k (fake 4k) as opposed to the Native 4k on the Series X
I think 30fps is not because next gen systems can't do 60fps, developers though feel pressure to have prettier games are trying to achieve more of a superficial accomplishment, by having lower target framerate they can make the games look better. I understand their worries too if they fail to have the best looking graphics on surface they'll get hell for that too.
I wonder too with developers working on meatier hardware if they've not bothered utilizing optimization tricks they've come to use this gen, like variable resolution to keep framerate stable, temporal supersampling, checkerboard rendering.
I read an interesting random article few weeks back about how games have better success optimizing games to target a lower resolution output with smaller texture files to keep overhead down then spruce up the image in post processing is a nice but effective cheat at achieving 4K performance, a significantly better trade-off compared to targeting native 4K output with high resolution textures.

There is not enough time nor money when you have seven consoles to work with. The pressure for pretty games never existed.
