What are your latest game pickups? #5

As a PS5 gamer, it's been a helluva month!

PS5

• Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart - amazing game, definitely one of the best games of the year. Amazon hooked me up with a $10 coupon so that was nice.
• Guilty Gear Strive - I stink at fighting games, but they always intrigue me, & I love the animation in this one! Want to try to get into it.
• FF7 Remake Integrade - was hoping the Yuffie DLC was on disc, but sadly it's not :(. But I still look to replaying this game! Walmart had this for $60.
• Jedi Fallen Order - got the PS4 version for $15. It comes with a free upgrade to the PS5 version so I wanted to check that out!

Switch

• Monster Hunter Rise - Game Fly had this for $40. I enjoyed the demo quite a bit.
• Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity - Game Fly also had this for $40. Demo was eh, but I'll give it a go at a discount. Gotta check out that lore.

What about you, SW? What are your latest game pickups?

I picked up The Wizards 1+2 for dirt cheap for VR. Haven't played it yet, though. Otherwise, working on that backlog...

Returnal Deluxe and Ratchet and Clank Deluxe for $35 a piece. 😎

Last game I bought was Cuphead which was on sales not so long ago. Wish I hadn't though as I'm TERRIBLE at it.

I bought Ninja Gaiden collection on switch. Couldn't resist having those games on the go.

Akane on Switch for 1€. Pretty cool little arcade game.

Nothing major I bought lately but I did pick up R-Type: Final 2 on GoG $40 & Turnip Boy commits Tax Envision on Steam $10 is all I'm gonna get out of. Still debating I should buy Ninja Gaiden Collection on Steam or Switch. (Leading towards Switch however)

Latest were Resident Evil 8 and the Mass Effect Legendary Edition for my Xbox Series X. Not gonna lie, RE8 loses steam when NG+ mode kicks in. I have yet to start my playthrough of Mass Effect collection. Lately been just dicking around with Astroneers when a friend has time to play online, and Man Eater as it's good for short burst playing after work and before bed.

Went and grabbed Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition off GOG for $3. Had the original version on Steam, but never upgraded because I didn't like the region locking, so I just left it to collect digital dust in my library.

Eh. A bit busy with other games at the moment, though, so it will have to collect a few more layers of dust for now.

Saw that on GoG for grabs but I also have it on Steam with Definitive Edition already. Almost got it for GoG but I rarely buy the same game again on PC. Still thinking about grabbing Alan Wake: American Nightmare for only $2 and I still have the original game on 360.

You'll love the Definitive Edition when you have free time to play it.

Picked up the Guilty Gears on PC. If anyone wants to play ding, attempting to learn basics.

I went ahead and got Ratchet and Clank to play with my kids, Chivalry II, Yakuza Like a Dragon, Chaosbane, Divinity II, and Dragon Quest 11S most recently. Oh yeah, I forgot I picked up the Castlevania Anniversary Collection, Contra Anniversary Collection, and Storm Ground as well. Think I already mentioned a few of these in another thread though.

The VERY last thing I got was R&C... I'm not sure what I want next.

The Medium came out months ago. That booby trap was already sprung.

I could have played it on PC then, at no time will this game ever be played by me. Plus, I'm sure MS paid GS to give it the 9 it got. 🤣

The Medium is perfect Game Pass fodder. Not a game most people would buy at launch so let them try it out as a rental lol.
