What are your favorite games this year so far?

We are now halfway into the year- the second half looks to be absolutely loaded with some insane shit, but the first half has been pretty damn great as well. As we ready ourselves for the onslaught of insanity that awaits in the next six months, let's also look back at what we've gotten so far. What are your favorite games of the year so far?

Ori. I think the only worthwhile game I've played, that's come out this year. I'm working on my backlog at the moment.

Witcher 3, simply amazing.

Halo ODST, never got to play it first time around and it just oozes atmosphere.

Divinity OS (got to it a bit late). First 'proper' game I've played in quite a while. I'm not yet reduced to playing indies that plagiarise games made long ago and look like digital dung on my screen.

Bloodborne, Ori, Witcher 3, OlliOlli 2, Majora's Mask 3DS, Mortal Kombat X, Cities: Skylines, DiRT, probably Batman next --- seriously, how can anyone complain about this gen at all?

I've enjoyed a lot of games this year but going by time spent on individual games

2. Divinity Original Sin - I know it was released last year but I've spent more time playing it this year.
3. Total War Attila

Other games that deserve a mention are Grey Goo, Cities Skylines and Star Citizen: Arena Commander (it constantly updated and has changed loads)

Edit: Forgot about GTA V (PC) don't know how, I've spent almost as much time on that as I have on The Witcher 3 :)

Witcher 3 is the main one so far... Plus I'm really enjoying Life is Strange.

I don't think i have played anything new this year :(

But so far i've been playing lots of Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and UNIEL.

Bloodborne, but I still haven't played Witcher 3, which I already bought, but because of work, well....

I'm reading the Witcher novels first. So far the first book is half-ass mainly because of poor translation. I can't go a few pages without a sentence that makes absolutely no sense or bad grammar. From the Amazon reviews I understand the translation gets better.

It's been alright. I'd add Splatoon, but man, I'm just not playing it. I don't feel inclined to play that game. Thank God, I only paid 20 for it.

I think Pillars of Eternity and The Order 1886 are the only games from 2015 I've played so far?

Pillars is disappointing and The Order was short and unfulfilling.

Bloodborne. TW3 would probably come as second (or maybe even first), if my local mailing sevice didn't misplace my order FFS!

Mortal Kombat X and Duck Game. A lot of people are saying Ori. Maybe I should pick it up before the Steam sale ends.

Massive Chalice, ESO, Castle Storm (all Xbox One). Those are the only new games that I have played this year, and I have enjoyed them immensely.
